Spammers

Looks like the sites been getting hit with either spambots or outright spammers. I've noticed 2 today already....

I like the spammers. You can mess with their heads. They get s reply and think its gonna mean money. Time is money for them so when they answer a BS reply it costs them. A bot is another story though. :-S

Any you see are ones which have slipped past me. We have a system in place where the only spammers we do get are human, so no bots etc. Which sometimes makes it hard to find them if it's actually a person trying to look legit, but then spams a load of dick enlargement blogs when you're not looking.

 

If you see any that I miss just send me a mail with the link and I'll deal with them

It's a constant threat. Ning does a pretty good job of giving us tools to prevent spammers, but unfortunately it's problem that will likely always exist. 

 

Think of them as zombies ;)

 

The best thing to do is to report them. We take care of pretty fast and when we remove them all of their submissions go away.
