So if you don't already know this stealth is going to be a big part of surviving so what would you do, take everything into account and use what you have around your house.

clothing

for me I'd good with a black long sleeve shirt, my dark blue fur coat, thin thermal pants with black combat pants. sure it's the winter now but if I make it to the summer everything still has a use.

weapons

I'd try and get a M9 and a 30.30 lever action rifle, both are light and the M9 can have a suppressor and ammo is easy to come by.

food/water

I'd get a nice marine issue bag because of the space. next I would try and keep the metal cans goods to a minimum when traveling. they'd make to much noise and would be heavy in numbers, so MREs would be good. I have a decent sized camel pack that I run with so that could go over the bag.

for clothing i would were my pair of BDU's becouse they are comfortable and of alot of good pocket spce i would were an under shit beneath a standerd jungle setting camo jacket. aloong withmy gas mask for a few reasons- first cuz it can hide my face (im am paste white) the virus could mutate and become airborne, and the last one kinda ties into food and water.
for weopons i would have my compound bow and my knife. thats all i own i have a bb gun but that wont do much. for food ad water the mask comes into play becouse whil i have it on i can drink cuz my mask has a tube that conects to a standerd canteen. i have 2 camel backs 1 for me and the other for a group member or i could were both cuz it it has a little storege room (for short trips) but my skewl back-pack is just ritefor a moderate journy. it has alot of storage pockets for storeing canned foods. it has locking strapes so it will reduce the sound. tip: if you pack those cans toghether tightly they wont makenoise on each other.
clothing
I would wear a t-shirt, sweat jacket and I would wear sweat pants under jeans in case of cold weather

weapons
I would use a metal bat for physical combat but for long range I would use a crossbow considering it makes less noise than a gun attracting less zombies

food/water
I would use my camping bag it is easy to carry but big enough to carry around supplies. I would bring a lot of canned vegies for health purposes and fruit cake because as disgusting as it is it is one of the few foods that can't really go bad since it already is bad. for drinks I would carry alot of water because of its well hydration and milk because I like it and it is good for your bones

I do this health crap because you need to be in the best condition possible in a zombie apocalypse
not to rat on you guys but what I see a lot of is you wanting canned or tinned goods......canned against can make noise right? the topic at hand is stealth so tell me how making noise is stealthy.

and max tell me how your going to keep a refrigerator on hand or ice box long enough to keep the milk from spoiling? let alone a cow or 2 to provide you with the milk you want since it has a short expiration date even with preservatives.
he could use KLIM. lol
KLIM?
Klim...dirt bike outfits?
lol. srry the old WW2 nickname for powderd milk. its just milk spelld backwards.
I have had that stuff and it's horrible
its not horrible if you know how to rehydrate it properly. I'm not a big milk drinker so I keep powdered milk in the house, if I fancy a glass of milk out of the blue I use 1 part powdered milk to 2 parts water and make me some milk. Its not easy, I consider it some kind of art to perfectly rehydrate milk. the stuff doesn't dissolve easily so you need to use hot water and lots of patience. But in the end if you did it right its nearly impossible to discern the difference the difference between rehydrated milk and a glass of fresh nonfat milk. if you did it wrong you'd get watery milk with bit of cheese in it.

but I'd still rather drink fresh milk. powdered milk is quite expensive.
idk how its stealthy and .... good point I wont be taking milk with me
well in a zombie apoc zombies wont always be your main concern.
Clothing is everything man, it's all psychological. If you feel like a bad ass wearing some military fatigues and combat boots chances are your going to kill more zombies then you would if your not. I mean for shit's sake you could wear a superman costume, it's just mind over matter. and if you can do that you have a higher chance of survival then someone who feels like a dork.
