Stuck in my house. What do I do?

Two words for you, Stealth Recon. Food is going to run out. You know that. If you are in a two story house secure the first floor as best you can. make some kind of 2nd floor entry. Move needed supplies and block any staircases, inside and out. Are you alone? If not, make sure to include anyone with an able body and able mind in your plan. more help makes it easier on everyone. Some folks might think you are good for a week. I say you've got less then that where your food and water stores are concerned. Perishable food will go bad quickly without refrigeration.

On your recons look for food, better fortification and escape routes. If you meet other survivors, who you do not know, be wary. In a SHTF situation I'll be hard-pressed to trust people I think I know.
