According to all the literature out there zombies freeze solid in sub zero temps.  This does matter a lot to the time line(s) since they all end at the beginning of winter.  How do Campion zombies react to the cold?  If they freeze northern countries and states don't really have a problem any more.  Thoughts?

I guess its all what you are used to... I much prefer -40C to +40C
I agree, it is going to be harder to survive in a climate where people could freeze solid (including Zeds) than a milder climate. And, you'd have to have consecutive super sub-zero days in order to KEEP them frozen.

They no longer have the same biology as the living. I think the reason they slow down in cold weather would have more to do with joints and muscles, than blood (or lack there of). And, if they were in buildings in cold weather, who knows? Maybe that is just enough shelter they need to keep from "freezing" solid???

I live in high desert country in the Rockies where it does get cold in the winter, but not a lot of snow. We get nasty winds that get up to 75 miles per hour. It's cold, but not freezing solid cold more like frost-bite cold.
I'm pretty sure I live where they would freeze solid. And its not hard to survive in a cold climate if you know how. Fire is your friend. And hey the natives did it for a long time before the Europeans showed up and the Inuit are still doing it today in the arctic. Nunavut is very nice this time of year.
