Would you watch a Superhero vs Zombies series?
I'm a producer for a new webseries that's exactly that and we're looking for feedback from all zombie and superhero enthusiasts. It's called The Lone Gunman and it's all about the last superhero, and possibly human, alive in the wake of the zombie apocalypse. Unable to give up hope, he continues to search for survivors. But finding survivors might not be such a good thing...
What we're looking for are people's feedback. What do you think of the idea? Would you watch it? What types of things would you like to see in a series like that? We invite you to check out our sites and comment away. All feedback is appreciated.
Thank you zombie lovers!

Permalink Reply by Rj on July 14, 2011 at 4:41pm Sounds interesting, will be looking forward to this. I assume this will be part of neither the existing Superhero worlds.
Perhaps calling it Superhero is wrong, cause i don't see anything super about the gunman yet.
Also bit more clarification would be enjoyed, ie details, a Synopsis. Cause it all looks very vague.
And When will the first episode be launched and how long will each Episode be?
The show has nothing to do with any existing comic book universe. It is a completely origin world with all new characters. We call it superhero because the universe is filled with superheroes. Though the Gunman is just a man, he like Batman, Moon Knight, the Punisher and Hawkeye, is still a hero who does super things. And there are tons of other super beings in the series including: a man who can divide himself into multiple copies, a telepath who could give Professor X a run for his money, and the Incredible Hulk if his skin was made of steel.
We'll be giving out more and more information about the show as we get closer to the launch date, but we can tell you this:
"The Lone Gunman is the last Superhero on Earth in the wake of the zombie apocalypse (hell, he might just be the last living human being). But he won't stop searching...he can't. When mysterious clues surface, the Gunman finds he isn't as alone as he thinks...and that might not be such a good thing."
The series is filled with mysteries, conspiracies, superhero battles and of course...zombies.
The first episode won't launch until later this year and the first season will be 18 episodes long. Aired online weekly with an average episode runtime of 5 minutes.
Hey hi,
funny enough, after watching Cowboys vs Aliens, I thought, why there isn't a superhero vs zombies movie out there, so I googled and found this site =P
The synopsis of your story sounds interesting, hopefully it will win audience over.
Just to let you know my ideal movie concept - a Kick Ass setting with a few super crime fighters taking down the mob, and then the Rage/T-Virus thing starts to spread and heroes have to save their loved ones and at times work with their enemies...combining with The Walking Dead human drama, some Shaun of the Dead humor plus cool figures like Hit Girl and Big Daddy...
Since you are starting off with the world already in the apocalypse, maybe you can do flashbacks/prequels on how it began? Or maybe on how some heroes became heroes because of what zombies did to their family?
Well that's just my ideas, hopefully it helps!
