This reminds me of those b/w films they showed kids at school back in the day...incase of an atomic bomb, hide under your desk.

Most people panic and don't think of hiding in the attic. If you don't have an attic find an abandoned house that has one, preferably with those folding stairs that you can pull up behind yourself. Zeds can't climb stairs that aren't even there and if you're quiet raiders aren't gonna find you either. Move your supplies up there cover any windows so you can't be seen, keep as quiet as possible and your covered.

elevater stuck in the shaft small but unreachable when the emergency escape is closed a ship close to port the mexican platue any where well protected and if u hide in a attic they are very hot especailly in summer and usualy not very well built
