Survivors rejoice with me!!
After almost a year of searching, I have finally found and purchased my new melee weapon of choice: The Trucker's Friend. This multi-tool is part hammer, part crowbar, part axe and all BAMF. It's extended head is steel, has a sturdy fiber body and rubber non-slip grip and weighs in at about eight pounds and is about 20 inches long. I'm in love.
For those of you who are wondering, I picked it up at the TA Travel Center in Sawyer MI off I94 exit 12. It was $44.95 + tax. There were like 5 left and this is the first place I've seen them in over a year, and being a truck driver, I have checked literally hundreds of truck stops all across the US. Maybe they'll make a comeback.

Nope all it says is "Truckers Friend" and there is a Patent NO: 7,051,390.

I haven't measured it but if i place the end of handle at my elbow, the head extends past my fingertips by almost 6 inches.

Yeah, like I said, I've been looking for almost a year. The only place I've ever seen them is a few truck stops. Keep your eyes open if you ever go on a road trip!
