Swine Flu is the Start of A Zombie Outbreak
Viruses have been known to mutate and develop and this flu already has no cure and is spreading so why would it not evolve? It started in pigs and, maybe, when the virus hit a human body, it found new substances previously unknown in a pig and took advantage of them, therefore, evolving.
Of course, evolution takes time and it would, as she said, take about two years. Two years from now it would be fully developed and spread like a wildfire through saliva and blood and people start dying everywhere.
By December 21st, 2012, the world as we know it is gone...a zombie apocalypse.
I STRONGLY believe this has zombie potential. Not the classic 'dead come to life' zombies but something along the lines of the rage virus in 28 days later.
One thing that REALLY frightened me was when I googled the swine virus and found this news article:

One section reads as follows:
Humans do not have immunity to the new virus, which has genetic information from pigs, birds and humans.
As the virus moved from species to species copying itself, it picked up different information from its hosts, said Christine Broussard, a biology professor at the University of La Verne who has a doctorate in immunology. The process is called "genetic shift," she said.
Experts fear the virus could continue to mutate and become more lethal, she said.
This is real and this is happening.

Well, I mean, this Swine Flu spreading now is a completely new strain, h1n1 or something like that. We are basing it off of a different strain but what if the strains just look similar but, it is in fact, and entirely new virus and is just at the early stages of it's mutation?

"drug riots" is what they were called, but I think it was something else, because the clip of these riots i saw was a few seconds long and it showed armored police firing upon unseen (from the camera view) assailants, of course i didn't hear any distinct sounds like moaning, sounds of rage or anything of the sort, just gunshots.
as well I saw civilians scattering from the zone.

I read your article, and the writer isn't a reporter. Reporters report facts, not what they want to believe is fact.
1st, there is no cure for the flu...just treatment. The only reported death in the US is a toddler from texas, probably because of a parent who decided not to get their child imunized, reciveing a flu vaccine.
As long as you've had your flu vaccine, you have nothing to worry about.
The next problem is that this isn't a pandemic, Mexico barely has a medicine, let alone the medical infrastructure to immunize all these mexicans. "Patient Zero" was reportedly found in the mountains, alive. Obviously it isn't nearly as bad as it seems. It only kills people with compromised immune systems.
