I've started this thread because several people on the forums have picked the AR15 as their go to rifle. I did not start this thread in order to put down any other rifle. I would like this thread to be used to discuss the AR15 and its variants. I am hoping for photos and videos of rifles and owners with their rifles in action. I do not want photos, comparisons or descriptions of anything not AR15/Variant related in this thread. If someone does post other then AR15 they will be asked to post elsewhere.

Here are my current entries into the AR15 world. The rifle on the left is built from a Del Ton M-4 kit. and an Aero Precision Lower receiver. I installed an Adams Arms Gas Piston and Midwest Industries MCTAR 20P quad rail and flip up front and rear sights. The optic is an EOTECH XPS-2. It shoots anything I feed it including euo steel cased ammo and is quite accurate. The rifle on the right is a Bushmaster I bought used during the last election. I put a UTG(Chicom made) quad rail on it. A surefire military throw away light and some other goodies. It is currently my work rifle and it rocks too. Nothing lik the look on a bad guys face when he sees that badboy winking at him.

I've put together 5 other Del Ton rifle kits for coworkers and friends and they love em. I'll be starting a store in the next couple months and I will keep Del Ton in stock as long as they can keep them coming.

LETS SEE YOUR ARS.

Both of my ARs are Rock River Arms lowers with Hogue grips and CMMG 1/7 twist uppers.

The top has an EOTech holographic sight, YHM quad-rail and Surefire quick-detatch suppressor.

The bottom is a bit more streamlined with a bolt on rail on the handguard, Vortex flash suppressor, and an Aimpoint Comp4 red dot sight.

Sweeeeeeeat dude..

This is my AR-15 from Stag Arms the model 8 which comes with the short stroke piston and Midwest Industries flip-up front and rear sights. I plan on putting my 6x32 mini ao scope on it but im having trouble zeroing it in. I plan on taking it to my dads friends house, he's a gunsmith so he should have a good gun vice i can use. I also have a blackhawk 3-point universal swift sling I bought a while back for it but I cant figure how to put the damn thing on lol.

Might be best just going with an EOTECH or a Bushnell holo and adding a magnifier later. I really like my Midwest Industries sights.

EOTECH and Bushnell are sibling companies.

Nice Bushnell for the cash.

I don't have any current pictures right now, but here is my LWRC M6A2 in dark earth. I dont have any pictures but since then Ive added a ton of accessories.

Magpul angled foregrip

Magpul quad rails

Magpul backup sights

Combat optics green lazer

Surefire X series tac light

I recently upgrades my sights. Im currently employing a Eotech 553 holographic sight.

When I take this rifle out and run scenarios with it I really wish I had one this damn nice in the army. lol

Nice. I've never thought to go with other colorsthan black but the more I see em the more I like em.

I probably wouldn't have bought it in dark earth, but my dad and I went to a trade show they had in Orlando last year. We went by the LWRC booth, and they had one of them on display for you too look at. I really liked the color, and it went really well with the accessories they had on it. It doesnt clash with olive drab, or desert tan. The guy there told me they were discontinuing the color. There were only like 500 rifles ordered in the color, so its a little rare which is nice. The only thing I don't like about the gun is that cheap clips dont seem to seat well. I wouldnt want to rely on a cheap clip in a tactical situation, but for target practice their nice. I buddy of mine told me you can have a gun smith remove some of the cerakote from the inside of the lower receiver and they will set better, but since it doesnt happen with the nicer polymer mags Im not going to worry about it.

It is very nice.

I've painted a lot of my rifles over the years. Just a way of really making it yours, you know?

Yea I know what you mean Brown. I dont have pics of my old AR, but it was olive drab with black quads. I put black polymer fore grips, and a black magpul MOE stock on it. It was a really nice rifle, but I traded it to a buddy for a bunch of parts for my jeep. Its really hard to tell who got the better out of that trade. The winch has got me out of the mud several times, when I otherwise would have been screwed. It was a sweet rifle though. lol

Your buddy got the better deal. But sometimes that's okay.
Yea Ive traded him out for things before where I got the better part of it. I got a old coach shotgun from him acouple of years ago that had been detailed by someone who was skilled at barrel carving. Awesome piece. I think I traded some welding work for that. lol
Hey Prime,  I don't have any photos to post but for what it's worth I've carried the M16A2,  M16A3, and the early version M4 in places all around the world in combat and have NEVER had a failure and never failed to stop a bad guy.   I currently use a colt A3 heavy and an M4 and still stake my life on them, pretty good bet since I'm still alive.
