I think either the katana, crowbar, trench spike, or the mechete.

Personally i would go Sean of the dead on there ass and use the cricket padel, it seems like quit the head splitter :P or a hatchet a hatchet is just bada$$

A hatchet hasn't the range you need. A cricket padel won't work, it would get heavy after a while and it would take more than one blow to kill a zed. Plus, it could also break and splinter.
