It really depends on the country i would guess, i mean i can see some African militants trying shootouts, but im not so sure about less ruthless army's...

You mean to have a world-wide coordinated effort to launch an attack during a scenario, where, presumably, large swaths of the Earth are already occupied?

people are xenophobic by nature. there'd be a couple of short alliances, but most of the time would be spent between the countries blaming each-other
(The virus was from America! Russia helped the zombies adapt, jerk. 'Es, But China has the highest zombie Pop, etc. etc.)

More than likely along the lines of border control, just like during the H1N1 Outbreak. Ports closed, clean country's want to keep themselves clean. If it gets real viral, possibly even consider using force to keep people out .
