The only way it wouldn't was if the guy was a doctor/scientist guy and could remove the eggs from her ovaries put them in test tubes and then implant fertilized eggs into the woman. Then -- well if she is just going to pump out babies who are going to have babies who are going to have babies we'll just have a bunch of deformed people running around.
If there is only two people left on earth, maybe it's just game over?
well chance are that the human race being wiped out would be highly unlikely, even for the last two people on earth.on earth there are 6-7+ billion people on earth.so chances are that no one would be the last people on earth.theres all way going to be a colony out there some where
I think this would really be kind of obvious...the will is there, but this scenario is lacking the way. Unless, as some people have already said, one of them has the ability to remove the female's eggs and fertilize them out of the body, it can't be done.
But even after that may be accomplished, how many men know how to successfully deliver a baby? What if her physicaly condition won't allow her to carry a child, period? What if she starts hemorraging in the middle of the birth? Not a lot of men know how to manage these situations.
Basically, one of them needs to be a specialist in human reproduction and fertilization, and if you're just asking the members of this website what THEY would do, I'd say humanity would end up dying a slow but fun and orgasmic death.
I dont think its a matter of the human race continuing to pop babies as much as it is about survival. a woman expecting would be a serious problem for me. I'm no doctor so chances are the woman would probably die giving birth...but thats just me.
