i was pondering on the use of flashbangs for anti-zombie tactics. seeing as how zombies rely more and sight and hearing than anything, it made sense (to me anyway) that since flashbangs affect these two senses, that they could buy you vital seconds in order to escape, reload, attack, etc.

wat do you guys think about this?

p.s. wasn't sure this was the best category, but o'well lol.

What, doesn't everyone like zombieburgers?
The best use I can think of them would be as early warning devices, set up some trip wires and you will have a nice amount of time ot get ready to either run away or go dispatch the zombie
i had always heard that zombies relied on all senses equally so uits very possible that it might assist you in your get away but by no means insure it
Zombies wouldn't be affected I think. They thrive on instinct, indeed they do use their senses but they thrive on the unstoppable need to feed. They'll just keep on moving. Like a zombie keeps on going even when losing limbs.
well either way it would be worth testing at least i mean what else are you going to use flash bangs for might as well see if they are helpfull
Because of the fact no one is sure that it will actually work as intended, and they are heavy....I'd rather have the same weight in ammo.

Frag's would be much more useful and who cares if they make noise ?
So do suppressed firearms.
I'm only going to use them if I'm knee deep in targets anyway.
If I'm already making noise, why do I care if I make more?
If there are too many targets to handle I shouldn't be there anyway and should do what I can to extract.

My theory is that a flashbang wouldn't disorient the foe (zombie) but it would definitely blind and deafen them for a few moments. I'd recommend using one of these in succession. You will have blinded him but have these moving balls of force hitting him will turn him which ways. So now he doesn't know what direction he's in nor can he see. Chances are he'll most likely fall over himself in his clumsiness
