The walking dead - S02 E02
One thing I find strange or, laughable, is everytime a zombie goes through a window, they break the glass out first. Of course its a natural reaction to the living not to get cut but, I doubt a zed could/would distinguish the broken glass as being harmful.
And as far as last night goes-
Shane and Otis deffinately should have planned an escape strategy before going in the trailer. That alleyway they ran through, coupled with 5 or 10 gallons of gas on the ground and 1 more flare would have made for a nice toasty getaway. A 3rd person waiting in the truck would have been helpful too. But, I'm just a dumb human sitting on the sidelines lol.
Permalink Reply by PRIME_Ω_PREDATOR - Otis knew what to look for. I think Shane should have covered Otis from the outside and retrieved tha truck for a quick pick up when it was time to break camp. Shane could run circles around the zeds. Otis could give a signal and Shane could grab the old p/u and make the save. I can see big ole Otis diving in the bed of the truck. Poor planning may get them killed.

run out of reply space to the "Flares" part of this thread lol... I know what you mean.. I'm not denying that thats how the writers are writing these zombies, I'm sure they waffle about how and why tings happen the way they do in the story line... Bottom line in that sense is that the zeds are as you say drawn to light and sound to the extent that the flares gave them a long enough decoy to get past an entire horde.... What I am saying is that despite it "being what it is because the writers make it so" it's still a really really shit concept and i would have more respect for the Zeds and the writers behind the zeds if they didn't have shitty concepts like that... Remember behind every great zed there is a great writer, and so far they've not been writing great or doing justice the comic according to those who have read it... i've now read volume 1 and would have to agree....
Will i stop watching! HELL NO! "See previous comment about douche bag kids and unconditional love" LOL

i agree just because i think that's how the zeds operate doesn't mean i like it. using those flares was a shity idea and i wish they had done something, else. i'm no the biggest fan of these walker zombies, not my favorite. they have some good stuff and some bad. seams like more bad then good at this point. but its still one of the only zombie shows on tv (what a shame am i right) and i think its still worth watching. how ever if the next episodes on and found they finally added a new chapter to Highschool of the dead. (my favorite zombie fiction by far) walking dead will after wait on the dvr until I'm done with H.O.T.D.

oh its awesome, i mean its Japanese but it so rules. blood and gore that would rival any American slasher movie, political intrigue, and some perverse stuff just to balance out the horror. its awesome!

Yeah? At the end when it showed him shooting Otis in the leg, I was like Wtf? Sometimes that's what you have to do to save your own ass.

HAHAHAHHAHA thats awesome...
Ok so just watched E03 - i know i'm a little late - not my choice.. still... I was left mouth open when Shane shot Otis but in fairness it was the right choice in the moment.... Carl would have died if Shane hadn't gotten back in time... And otis is why carl was in that position...
What i don't like is Shanes Gormless look... like he's speechless ... i find it so irritating... Shaved head is an interesting look though : )
Andrea is just getting more and more annoying... Dale is also now irritating... Daryl bless him, should have shot Andrea and Sophies mum (who's now so unimportant i can't even remember her name).. i mean how annoying would the sniffling and tap tapping be if you were trying to get some rest...
And the hung zombie - What a waste of an arrow... also didn't they go by that tent in E01? or is it a different tent lol...
