Things NOT to do During an Outbreak

List any common misconceptions that have been stated about what to do during an outbreak and the reason why this is not a good idea.

Gun Shops: not a good idea, they will be first place a scared and unprepared civilian will turn to, and they will most likely end up killing someone for a weapon. That's if the owner hasn't already barricaded the door to stop any looters or zombies.

Turn the lights down during the night. Don't leave the lights on. Because if you do, zombies will break through your door and eat you up. XD *sigh* that would be a darn big shame. <:) tsk tsk..

Dont use Public Batrooms, dont go into departments, markets, malls, i think the better idea is to stay on the highway or a camp house.

O and dont go to parking lots!!

also dont use Katanas, Chainsaws, or an Axe , just because Bruce Lee or Woody Harrelson can it doesnt mean you too, (use weapons equal to your actual experience on them)

never go to urban area coz more population more Z's unless you have a lot of resources and manpower to attack/loot that area

a bite is the only way to get infected.  NOT TRUE... Protect your eyes and mouth at all times if possible.  a set of saftey goggles and a scarf should do the trick.  Swallowing infected blood, or getting it in your eyes could lead to infection...  likewise if you have any open wounds or sores, keep them clean and keep them well covered to avoid contamination should you come face to face with a zed.

 

With zombies like everything prevention is better than a cure ie, it is better to avoid the zeds as much as possible rather than go round trying to kill them off...

Actually thats no necessarily the case...  Not all virus's can be transmitted that way... look at the aids virus...  Still a good point and very possible!!   Note to self, Add citronella and mosquito nets to Bugout Bag! LOL

ehm, i think the government will take extreme measures in extreme condition. If you are travelling in a Zpoc and a dude comes to you and asks:"can i join?" you would check him for bites, hmm.

 

and btw we have no goverment in belgium :p its crap
