I would say that even though the S&W .500 may not be very tactically sound (5rnd cap.), it is still certainly five rnds of guaranteed death in that chamber. As a backup "oh shit, blast that bastard! " gun.. Hellz yeah, it's money. But obviously with three or more Zac's creepin' on you, something with more ammo and less recoil might be a better choice. Also as I always plan around the fact that having the ability to think, might not make someone friendly (Hence I wear alot of armor), the option to punch through just about whatever is pretty sick. Even with threat IVA plates and inserts, that shot would pretty much destroy somebodies chest area... If the shot dont kill em, the internal bleeding sure will.
That "Short 38" sounds wicked.

As to the Cali driver, Im pretty sure the Deuce is legal for you there without a Class A license as it weighs just under the 26,000 lb limit. And fuck a Prius. My favorite thing is when I get the chance to park next to those little smart cars... To say I dwarf them is a waste of oxygen.

I have a single shot rifle, not the revolver. 

its not all the tactically sound, but i think I'll get some pleasure off being able to blast a zombie all over the road, if you know what i mean. zeds never tire or stop, they'll claw away until they get me, sometimes blasting one all ove the street sounds pretty good. 

there's also the factor of over penetration... no one uses the 500 S&W revolver for self/home defense. it can easily punch thru a few people. shoot out from a rifle, it gains a bit more energy and penetrate a bit more. add one of my super power round, I can probably demolish 5 zombies in one shot. and it doesn't need to be perfectly lined up, that bullet even clipping a zombie would make quite a mess. 

 

yes the short 38 is wicked.
