You know clothes, food/drinks, equipment (weapons, armor, explosives) tech would you carry with you in the Z day?

I would use 3 changes of cloth, some sandwiches (supplying in every empty store), a leather coat, hard cotton gloves, boots, a katana, a 50.cal sniper, a revolver, some grenades, a radio and my dog.

travelling light and you would carry a .50cal? Dude that's way too heavy. Pistols with plenty of clips should do the trick, especially if you are a good shot. Anything bigger and you risk not getting a head shot.
Pistols are actually quite the feat if your not trained with them. If you cannot steady your aim your in trouble, plus only effective at close ranges. Rifles are more accurate than any pistol. Perfect as a sidearm in a emergency within close quarters, but I'd reconsider as a primary weapon. As well as I'd reconsider using a .50cal sniper rifle. I do not know when you'd need to engage in a zombie driving a hummer at 1.5miles anyhow. Scope a lesser caliber rifle, then you'll be in business my friend!

Me, myself, I'd go with my good ol' Ranch Rifle, a light weight auto-loading rifle. I've accommodated myself with 3 twenty round mags, and 1 thirty round mag. I have a fancy tactical vest to carry most offensive equip with, yet i need to go out and buy a fancy backpack. As well as i need some type of under armor and pants. Some dark brown biker chaps would be ideal to protect the legs. Other than that i have a M65 field jacket with removable liner, good for summer and winter alike.
yeah i prefer heavy ones and handguns, and yeah youre right a rifle will do the job. And i think the biker chaps would do if youre driving a motorcycle or runnin, the zombies can bite just anything...
Ask yourself, what could i bite through, or not bite through. That's why leather rules supreme xD
yeah i would use a leather coat , like the biker onez, but PUMA or Ferrari. and bootz
ya the barret .50 weighs like 30 lbs and .50 cal ammo is really hard to come by seeing as .50 cal rifles are illegal in a lot of states and as far as grenades they would be pretty useless against zombies, frag grenades work by throwing shrapnel out which is intended to make someone bleed out not really an issue against the undead
it depends on the grenades, i can use frag with bigger groups and they would just blow in parts
frag grenades don't rip off body parts like in the movies the spit out fragments and are designed to cut arteries making the person bleed out
well ya i didnt say liek the movies, what about incendiary, mines, claymores or C4. Also depends if the zombies can take fire, or if they bleed they die.
most things like claymores and mines do the same kinds of things and as far as c4 your going to A have to get some and B get it stuck to a zed both really hard to do
it has a lot of light models , of course a bit of ammo 4 the sniper
A Beretta CX4 Storm with 50 rounds, a Smith and Wesson MP with 25 rounds, a 7 inch fixed knife. For supplies I would have a 2000 cubic inch back pack, with three days rations, 1 gallon of water, and a water purifier. For clothing I would have tight fitting jeans (no zed is grabbing my leg) synthetic material t-shirt, and a mid weight leather jacket. A pair of Merrel Hiking boots, and some leather gloves. I would carry one pair extra of clothing and fire starting material whether for warmth or arson of zombie infested territory.
