This Knife

That link brings you to the knife I'm debating buying. Is it worth it? It has full tang and the knuckle guard which could be used has brass knuckles.

Also, if anyone knows anyone that has a mark 1 1918 trench knife or a 1917 model trench knife, I would be interested in buying. Thanks :)

Hell yeah!!! that is sweet!

It's 18$ so dont expect much, try to find what type of steel it is.
It's 420 stainless, which isn't a bad steel, but isnt a great steel either, but for $20 what should I expect?
Well, first you have to make sure its the genuine item and not a fake. Check the area where the brass knuckles connect to the blade-if its welded on, dont but it, its a reproduction.
I mean, from what i see, it looks pretty solidly built-but if your going to buy one, buy an actual WWI or WWII trench spike. these re gaurnteed to work. I also have a ten-inch trench knife i would be interested in selling to you.
It's as you said 420 isnt bad nor is it that good but for 20$ the price seems right. Im trying to get my hands on some knives that are 1055 steel which go anywhere from 100$ to 200$
Yeah, I like steel that is 1045 - 1095. It's much easier to maintain and work with.

Well, the reviews sound good and it is cool looking. Not sure about full tang but it sounds sturdy enough. United sells a lot of knives and I agree with your assessment that the knuckle guard would come in real handy. While it doesn't look as cool, I prefer the design of the following knife that is a more exacting reproduction. The skull buster pommel looks like a good idea.

My hesitation is the quality of the knife. They don't tell you much. What is the handle made of? Is it full tang? Don't mean to make this harder. Good hunting.

OH HELL YES!!! I have been trying to explain the benifits of the trench knife(also know as the trench spike) for a year. I man, even my profile picture is a bleedin' modified trench knife. I personally own 15. They can easily pierce a skull, seeing as they we designed to stab through a stel helmet and a human skull. They protect the hands, require almost no skill to use, and are perfect killing machines. Hav eon on either hand, stab a zombie through the skull, then punch the other zombie in the face hard enough to send it reeling, or maybe even kill it. The only downside it the short range, but who needs long range killing machines when this silent killer is so much more deadly?

I have a Ka-Bar, full-size Army, which is my EDC. I highly recommend it. They run 60$-100$, depending on where you shop, but are worth much more than you pay. An incredible piece and most important, field tested.
