OTTAWA -- A team of Canadian mathematicians have been picking their large, delectable brains over whether humankind could survive a zombie apocalypse. 

Their conclusion? 

"An outbreak of zombies infecting humans is likely to be disastrous, unless extremely aggressive tactics are employed against the undead," says the paper, titled When Zombies Attack! Mathematical Modelling of an Outbreak of Zombie Infection. 

"Thus, if zombies arrive, we must act quickly and decisively to eradicate them before they eradicate us." 

"If you look at it in a more realistic way, zombies are about the s...disease - they get out and we try to eliminate them," said Joe Imad, a University of Ottawa mathematics student and one of the paper's co-authors. "Modelling zombies would be the same as modelling swine flu, with some differences for sure, but it is much more interesting to read."

I agree with Daniel on the fact that if there will be any vaccine, they will only come up with up after a few years and i'll allow myself now to add that it might take more than just a few years. This zombie virus will be by far the most dangerous yet extraordinary pendamic

Unless they know already about the possibility of such a contagion which they might have tested on animals already and found a vaccine to it already in case of an outbreak. What could that virus be but a lethal virus, after a few or many generations, it has mutated allowing it to spread through air becoming not only a lethal contagion but also a highly contagious virus.

 

Daniel said that the vaccine [since there won't be much of a cure, come on now], will be sold for a high price and only rich people can aquire it. I agree with this as well, but i should also add that one should think about the poor people and medium class people with little to own, they will be selling their goods, their women.... This world is corrupted man.. what can't you sell and give away just so you don't turn into a Z.

Some of us of course will still have if only little humanity left and for this, i hope the virus will be Airborne, so that not only we people are fucked, but also the C* Suckers out there who think they can own just about anything with money.

 

And this is what a Zombie Apocalypse should be like... Airborne... No freaking vaccine that will work, no nothing.. Hope is dead. God is Dead. It is... The End.

My dad read it and so did i and basically they made bird influenza airborne through ferrets and it can now effect humans it also happened in Wisconsin. also they did a stupid thing by making it affect humans. They could really bring down the population or maybe destroy it and terrorist may even use it.

And one guy wants to make a paper on how to make it. Terrorist or some dumbass can get the recipe, make the virus and use it on us. I mean, really I found out how to make a flash grenade from a tv show AND IT WORKED! It was made from simple ingredients u can get at a walmarts. Now thnk how easy a terrorist can learn to make a bomb from the Internet and kill all of us cause some people think there so great and all mighty because they made something somebody else can't

Here is my thought. Wouldn't after a certain amount of time, find the virus burning itself out? Zombies are after all dead. They will rot. The decomposing prosses may take longer than usual but their number will diminish over time .....
