With the ever increasing population, should we not be looking for ways to live with our undead brethren? It's not like there's not plenty for them to eat, and it's survival of the fittest if a fat kid gets snacked on. Zombies are the working class of the undead but beyond them is a host of creatures that not only want rights but can form sentences and demand them. We mustn't forget that the zombie comes to mind first only because they are more numerous, and in some ways more crass, than the other undead out there. Vampires wait for the night when they are no longer being written about by Anne Rice. Mummies just want solitude and a 10% cut of the treasure they guard, books they are in, and any movie appearances. It should also be remembered that werewolves hate being called undead and want to be treated like any human with a horrible disease. So what say you? Do we give the undead freedoms or hunt them down? I say freedom. I started a t-shirt company called Tattered Star Apparel to help the undead gain their rights. Go to www.tatteredstar.com and join the revolution. Viva la zombie!

Granted, it would be a bigger circle, yes. In the case of zombies, pieces would fall off and return to the earth all the time. At some point he would return to the earth. Vampires and mummies would take much longer, but they too would return to the earth. As for your future, it only takes a little compromise to give fellow life forms respect and freedom. The fear that is keeping you from accepting them is that they will eat you. I feel humans need to be a few chinks down on the food chain. There is no law saying we must be on top all the time. No one has stated that you must be bitten or that you have to become an undead. You just have to live and let un-live.
Brother, you play with fire you're likely to get burnt. You play with undead you're likely to get bit. The way I see it is we are doing these corpses a favor. They are already dead and we are just helping them into the dirt and saving our skins when we can. Respect is one thing. becoming the next meal is another. Thankfully I haven't dealt with vampires and haven't had any reports of them. I've dealt with some fools who thought they were vampires but they found out different the hard way. I was in Egypt in 1985 and Panama in 1986. I don't plan on going back to either so mummified Humans aren't a big issue with me.

When it comes to Zombies, they are already dead. Period. DEAD. They just don't know it. Hell they don't know anything. You wanna domesticate one have at it. Wear a shark suit.
I have to disagree with your views but I respect your convections. You have valid points.
Well friend, this isn't the Hegins, Pa. Pigeon Shoot. It might be hard to tell the difference between you and a zed in my sights, ;)
Oh that will be easy. I'll be the one screaming, "Dear God, please don't kill me. I'll do what ever you want but let me live." :)
Wow, that sounded so much like "Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, moooooooooooooooaaaaaaaan, mooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaan." lol
"As for your future, it only takes a little compromise to give fellow life forms respect and freedom."

Ummm...last time I checked in order to be called a life form...one actually has to have a life...
They are still alive. They need food, they walk, they think in basic terms. I think your view of "alive" is too narrow. I mean, heart beats are so overrated. Just look at them like stroke victims who eat flesh and don't have heart beats. I didn't say it was a great life, but it's still a sort of life. Science with all its "laws of nature," who needs them. Think of the building projects that they could do. What a workforce, though their pay may be an arm and a leg.
Your look at life is too broad. They have no thought. They have no real existence other then to consume live flesh. They have died and risen because of some virus that takes over their mind and body. There is no more soul.
So what your saying is that when you get a cold, or the flu...that you nurse the virus to full strength thus killing yourself? Single celled organizms have rights too...
I give up
LOL, but your my favorite replier.
