What makes you so useful? If SHTF, zombies come out of the woodworks, why should i(or any other person) let you join our group? What can you bring to the table; skills, weapons, food, equipment, etc. Has anyone asked themselves this question?
Well when it comes to skills. Extensive pyrotechnics experience, minor chem./physics experience, minor mechanical/electrical engineering experience, extensive first aid experience and human anatomy knowledge, extensive firearms experience and general survival knowledge
I’ll provide a fully stocked survival kit, food packages, water, weapons (shotgun, rifle, handgun) and explosive materials (thermite ect.) I might not be the best choice but I can prove useful.
I'm light, quick, and I have extraordinarily precise vision, I'd make a good scout. I also have really good hearing, and I've trained myself to filter out certain sounds from others. Zombie moaning on a windy day? I'll hear it before you.
I'm also quite talented when it comes to building things, I'm even putting together my own Z-day face mask to protect my face from spatter and blows. Had my brother hit me in the face with it on, and thanks to the padding (the kind they put into US army helmets, designed to absorb the shock of a bullet impact), I just had to worry about my head being shaken around a bit.
for me: general first aid, basic environmental skills (thanks to life in BSA), extensive weapon knowledge, common sense knowledge on the enemy. decent hearing, eye sight, over all a jack of all trades with weapons, just as long one can show me how to operate it once.
simple but effective construction skills. and with my uncommon people's skills, I can keep a group together from breaking (to a point of course). common/self taught electronic skills, some mechanics.
as well knowledge in the use of black powder weapons.
I'm the ultimate survivor. military trained, Marksman, Medic, Strong, Athletic, Inteligent, Really, I'm everything most people aren't.
I've got lots of experience with weapons and firearms. I've had training in Kempo, Judo, and Kickboxing. I can lift the front end of a standard size truck (A few hundred pounds), and I can run a mile in about 5 minutes.
I've been in the medical career field for 10 years, and have seen just about everything. I have advanced survival skills, and I think outside the box. I went to college without having to take the SAT or ACT, and get easily bored with Physics and advanced statistics because it's so simple. Really, I'm kinda smart.
Things like chemistry and electrical engineering are nothing to me, and I took apart and rebuilt my first engine when I was 10. It doesn't matter what I provide, It's what I will get my hands on. I know the how, where, and when thing happen.
Oh yeah, and then there's the laser vision, antimantium claws, invulnerability, and flying thing.
Just though I'd sling the BS like some other people.
But really, I'm not kidding. I'm the pimp of survivors, it's all true. I'm currently enrolled in a university for Software engineering. Just trying something new...
Skills? I don't have many. But I have good night sight , and I can keep people entertained. I have fast reflexes and I don't brag alot. I don't have problems with killing anyone (as long as they are a threat to our party) , physicaly I mean. I am also prettylight on my feat , move pretty quietly and have often been in the woods and mountains with no one to rely on.
It ain't much but I don't see how I can be in the way and in that case another crowbar in the group only comes as a help
