Zombies are brainless, ravenous, flesh eating machines. The fact that a "zombie" feels for a human and doesn't want to rip her apart makes him not a zombie. Vampires have had an unfortunate destiny in the fact that they can love and yet be monsters. This has been the case for many years. The undead loving a mortal.
Zombies on the other hand, are not zombies if they feel for a human. Zombies by definition are mindless killing machines. Warm Bodies is just trying to capitalize on the Twilight trend. Vampires should be admired in the way 30 Days of Night portrays them. Intelligent, vicious, killing machines. I hope zombies are not relegated to the depths of teenage angst and despair. They deserve better!
all valid points, but it still sucks to see that people will buy it. i have a bad feeling that people are going to really listen to this book an get killed trying to hug a zombie.
