if a major zombie outbreak happened wat about all the willing suvivours out there with medical needs like insulin?

Well if you excuse my French, you're fucked.
Medical supplies will be the first thing that are taken by survivors and no new supplies will be being made. Unless you can get a big stock of insulin, you're in big trouble.

That expiration date on the pills doesn't really matter much, thats just more of and fda regulation than it is an actual expiration, most pharmaceuticals last much much longer than is stated on them. For example morphine has a year expiration date, but morphine never goes bad, the government has a stockpile of 69,000lbs of morphine that was converted from opium just for the fact that once made into the pharmaceutical it would never go bad but the base form of the drug would if it was left in its pre-processed state.

Virtually anything can be balanced with healthy diet and relaxation of body and mind. When everything is terror, this will be difficult to uphold.

Yeah if you need some sort of meds, your pretty much out of luck in a full on level four end of the world outbreak. What's sad is if you've been lucky enough to survive the undead horde only to be taken down by a lack of perscription drugs.

Depends on the Diabetes type... Type I are pretty well done for ( Farewell aunt cindy, you were my favorite aunt)
Type II may have a chance, just depends on the severity of it all, Insulin dependants (t2) may have a shot provided they can sustain such a diet that they can keep thier sugar levels in check...giving them a possibility for their Pancreas to begin to produce (or stop producing, depending on what the individual problems is)... Non insulin dependents stand a greater chance, again, provided they can aquire the nutrition they need... both of which is unlikley...but possible
However, given that Diabeties also leads to many, many, many other health concerns, thier outlook is bleak at best...
but so is the outlook on the rest of humanity... Food production will be cut drastically, so.. for even the healthy individual, malnurishmet may be a far more incidious enemy than the walking dead themselves

Time to break out the old chemistry sets. Get on line and figure out how it's made. If you have to rely on someone else you've got problems. You've got to rely on yourself. Others will be willing to help but others die. Now I wouldn't go making my own insulin instead of buying the store bought stuff right now. When there's no one making it and no one going to make it. when the gas has gelled up or burned off and you've got nothing but your own remedy then you use it.

And also, I'm kind of jumping the gun but stem cell research has been passed and they have successfully created new pancreases out of pig cells so maybe by that time people won't have to worry about it.
Plus if your using a insulin pump, things will last longer and be much easier.
Trust me, my brother is a diabetic and I've had to learn all of the things for years.

They will die. In the big picture, this will actually be a boon. If the human race survives, this will weed out the gene that causes diabetes or other health problems like that. We could possibly live in a diabetes-free world (or whatever other disease).

they will die, then become diabetic zombies and wont eat sweet people.
even healthy ones must be careful no to get any disease that needs drug treatment, cancer, tumors, viruses (other than the Z virus), infection, bacteria, amoeba, do not get bitten by a rabid dog, dont eat with dirty hands, dont get broken bones
is there any soap left? is water pure enough to drink? or you survived zombies just to die of cholera?
