We need a COOL zombie video game!
Ok, so we all know we have Left 4 Dead and the upcoming Left 4 Dead 2. But how cool would it be if we had a George Romero film meets GTA 5 MEETS the upcoming 2012 movie. You could have an open city and freedom to go were you want like GTA 5 and have hundreds of shambleing zombies like a George Romero/ Dead Risng feel. And have a destroyable city like 2012. Im thinking you could do a level were you and a group of 5 other online friends have to battle their way out of a zombie infested city, and make it to an airport and fly a helocopter out of the city before it gets blown up, buildings falling over the ground falls in etc. How EPIC would it be if your time is running out and the exploasions are desroying the city and you have to dodge buildings and drive through malls and stuff. I dont know, what do you guys think would be cool?... OH AND 3RD PERSON VIEW AND CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION!

sounds like a helluva game to me...
maybe not the 2012 stuff so much since a zed apocalypse wouldnt uplift whole cities...
n there would have to be some kind of mission order like the L4D n DR games but a free roam mix would be good...
stealing shit from gun stores and having to find food and stuff...
would be really cool...

I remember Romero was attached to a game for the Xbox titled "City of the Dead". It was supposed to have 4 player co-op. It was cancelled.
The company I worked for had a hand in "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green". My apologies for that steaming pile...
The zombie game I dream of is a massive multiplayer game but with FPS gameplay. "Guild Halls" would be player managed strongholds. The could choose what kind of structure their stronghold is and get specific bonuses from them. Groups of survivors would have to decide to team up with other groups or fight with them over the limited resources of the z-pocalypse world. Not only would there be individual trade skill trees but also a group trade skill tree. One group could excel at creating weapons while another would be good at foraging and cultivating food while a third might be good at repairing electronics. This would force survivor groups to venture to the "trade hub" ala Barter Town from Mad Max.

Yeah, I have always been surprised no one has tackled that. I think it would be AWESOME. In the zombie game if you have a mode called "Outbreak" were its a city with like 30 online players and a zombie has to infect the people, one person is a zombie, so on and so forth, but the zombie would have to be kinda fast cause the zombie player would get pissed if everyone was killing him and he was moving like 5 mph. But it would be cool if you could hold up in schools and everything, and if you mix that with an RPG and an MMO you would have a sure fire hit! Although it would be hard to have so many people in a game, but we can dream cant we? LOL

GTA 4 with zombies keep everything the same, but have burnt cars boarded up windows. some parts of town with working electricty and some without access to all buildings, you must get food water weapons gas all the stuff you need to survie and if you die you turn and try and kill you team before they kill you! scattered survivours hiding in buildings, customizeable charecter. with a storyline on how it happen. and be able to use everything as weapons crazy humans wannabe warlord, also a wooded area on the outside of town with some farm houses and wild life horse in the farms well something like that would be a dream for me!!!

Oh yeah Im right there with you bud! It would be cool if you run out of gas if you dont hit up a gas station. You should need to go to super markets and stuff and HUNDREDS of zombies roaming the streets, have a mode were your team is broken up and its at night and you need to battle through the city and meet up with your online buds. OH MAN that would be badass!
