  1. I first heard about it in February. Back then it was just a flu outbreak
  2. Sometime in the winter is when I first heard about it
  3. I thought it was a typical seasonal flu
  4. I remember thinking, it’s the flu it happens every year what’s the big deal.
  5. Then on the news they say this flu is different, which they always say.
  6. The media blew it up into this epidemic.
  7. There was an expert on NPR talking about how this could be the one, you know, the one that wipes out mankind.
  8. It sounded like bullshit. Like they were blowing it out of proportion for the sake of creating news.
  9. They started calling it super flu.
  10. People were lining up for flu shots, even though they said the flu shots wouldn’t work for the super flu
  11. Then you saw people wearing white dust masks. I mean, seriously. If you think a dust mask is going to make a difference then you’re already dead.
  12. There were all these companies releasing over-the-counter herbal crap which claimed to cure the super flu.
  13. They started opening quarantine camps.
  14. The biggest Camp was Saint Teresa, in Nevada.
  15. The Teresa camp got all the press. Everyone wanted in.
  16. Camp St. Teresa… What a disaster that turned out to be.
  17. People wanted to get into the camps. There were rumors that they had a cure.
  18. By then it was a pandemic.
  19. I remember they said it was no longer an epidemic it was a pandemic.
  20. That’s how the rating system goes: epidemic then pandemic, then… What ever you call this.
  21. Then the protests started.
  22. Yeah, protests, riots.
  23. Riots
  24. Fires
  25. The protests were all over.
  26. There were a lot of rumors.
  27. Rumors.
  28. Everyone had a theory .
  29. Some thought it was a terrorist attack
  30. Or a chemical weapon that got loose.
  31. Something we made.
  32. Some thought the government had let it loose on the population
  33. But no one expected what happened next.
  34. No one had any idea that would happen.
  35. Even after the mutation, we still didn’t believe it.
  36. Something happened at Saint Teresa.
  37. There was a mutation or something.
  38. That was November first.
  39. The sick, they just… started attacking people.
  40. Biting people, literally trying to eat people.
  41. The sick… Turned into something else…
  42. What else do you call them?
  43. Zombies.
  44. The undead
  45. I call them greenboys
  46. That’s when they started calling them zombies
  47. The Infected
  48. Before we even knew what was happening it was over.
  49. It was November first when the outbreak started.
  50. It took only 19 days.
  51. By the end of November there was no resistance left.
  52. The military was gone, just gone
  53. The power was out almost everywhere
  54. No government agencies
  55. No internet
  56. No mobile
  57. No television.
  58. Everything went dark.
  59. Now were surviving.
  60. We’re out numbered
  61. This is how the world ends.
  62. It’s a zombie apocalypse.

Is it ok if we just use the lines for a guidline? Like if we want to throw a few of them together to dtring them along smother can we chang eit a bit as long as it follows what you have up there?

If you read the statements in order, it tells a single story.  The concept seems to be that a bunch of different people all saying the same thing - in effect, telling the same story.

Ok where they were numbered I figured they were all supposed to be seperate statements not said together didn't read it to the end yet.

Feel free to say it however you want it. I know I didn't go word for word.

Some tips:

1. Do NOT simply read the lines. Remember to pronounce and enunciate naturally. (Emphasize certain words or syllables.)

2. Give some breaks between your sentences, this makes editing easier. We tend to talk faster than we realize and if you don't give a break between sentences it can make hell for an editor.

3. Replay your message by pressing 2. Listen, find the weak areas, choose how you will redo it, then re-record.

4. Take as many trys as you need. :) Have fun!

How long do we have to submit?

Not long, Skot is getting started on the editing shortly. (If he hasn't already)

That said if he finds an amazing piece that he needed before it's finished, I wouldn't be surprised if he used it. Until it's done, I'm sure quality material can be added.
