Weapons, Armor and Psychology
Alright, here's the point of this Conversation.
Clearly some weapons and armor have advantages over others yes we all know this.
But what about the Psychological aspect, what would be the reason for using certain weapons or wearing certain armor's.
Think about it, if you pick up a chainsaw it's because you associate the sound and look of a chainsaw with POWER, extreme killing power, it would instill you with confidence.
in short think of a weapon or Armor that would instill you and those around you with confidence just to see someone using it.
Personally i say the most prominant are the Chainsaw and plate armor... now imagine someone in both?...

This pretty much covers everything I would need, my go to weapon would be the ax due to its silence, using the pointed end to pierce the skull of any zombie in front o fme, second is the silenced .22 and the knife with integral brass knuckles. Last resort is the shotgun with the barrel clip.

I'll disagree with you on that one. Confidence doesn't make you feel invincible, it just makes you more sure of yourself. If you believe it's better to be scarred, then good luck in an apocalypse. I'll be confident in my skills and gear, but that doesn't mean I'll take stupid risks, I know my own limits.

Good point!! I would use my M4 or my Glock 23 due to the fact that I have trained with them forever. They both feel like an extention of myself. I can manipulate them both in stress, in daylight or darkness. I feel that they are apart of me

Are you serious? Partner if the the apocolypse ever happens thinking your going to Iron Man it isn't going to work. Something like that is going to take massive support. Power source, repairs, ect... I like the idea just as much as the next one, but try something more practical.

Completely agree with the aspect that weapons envoke certain feelings from people. I can tell you this, I won't be caught dead using a chainsaw as a weapon. Thats exactly what happens with a chainsaw your going to wind up dead. Go tactical, go light, and efficeint. Thats what will work.
