Weapons of mass survival

If you had two other people with you and you had a choice of four other weapons what would you choose?

Primary- 12 gauge
Primary- M1 Carbine
Secondary- Glock 17
Melee- Chinese dao or more practical khukri

Primary- Ruger 10/22 (bigger is not always better)
Primary- Glock 17 w/ silencer and ext. mags (light, popular ammo, and strong enough for personal security)
Secondary- Mossberg 590A1 w/ bayonet (versatile ammo loads)
Melee- crowbar (it just makes sense)

Everyone should have a long, a short, and a melee weapon. 

 

If I had the choice, I'd have all three carry a rifles and/or carbine that use the same ammo and mags for their primary. I prefer the M4/AR platform. 

 

Sidearms would be whatever the person could handle. Anything in 9mm, .40 S&W or .45 ACP since these are the most common calibers for semi-autos. 

 

Melee's are a different story, whatever someone can carry and use.

sawn off shot gun for absolute emergencies but to be honest i don't like the idea of a gun..  As a survivor i would much prefer a melee weapon with dual usage - i wouldn't be out to get the zombies and would never engage them or try to pick them off.. my strategy would be total avoidance and use of the melee if confronted...

I would like to update my entry on this forum, I have posted once before but looking back... I don't know what the hell I was thinking. 

Primary- Custom AR15 (probably a Bravo Co. with a Noveske Barrel)

Primary- Remington 870 slug gun.

Secondary- Smith and Wesson 629 Stealth Hunter (I know its retarded, I don't care though)

Melee- Crowbar
