Where you hit wouldn't it just contract that muscle (whatever is left) and its counter parts, assuming that there was no fluid to carry the charge throughout the body. I mean that is the ultimate goal in this situation. De-mobilization.
Additionally if the charge was strong enough do you think it would snap the limb from the contraction?
thats why you go for the abdominal your center. what allot of people don't seam to understand is all of your muscles are connected. one gets hurt and it effects everything around it. all the strength of you body comes from your abdominal area and its enough to spread the shock through out the body. at least enough to knock them down. also the energy probably travels through the nerves. i mean you already have organic wiring running through out your body. and in order for a zombie to move those connections must still be functioning. and even if the shock only effects the abdominal area the rest of the muscles will still cramp up in response. its like domino's one following the other. its a reaction, ever get punched in the stomach and just have all the wind knocked out of you. now you know why. its because your core, your center of gravity is where all your strength come from, that's why martial arts always target the solar plexuses.
and i don't know it will snap the limb but the sudden and violent convulsion might do damage to the muscles since all the sinews and connections that attach the muscle to the bone will be rotting. I'm sure they would rot away before the muscles do.

Douglas on November 14, 2011 at 10:24am You know even if it doesn't cause all your muscles to contract, it will always hurt like hell so thats two things that'll bring someone to their knees. Especially if you hit a collection of nerves, you'll probably black out from the pain.
well yes but zombies don't feel pain, and a stun gun will always disable you skeletal muscles that's what its designed to do.

nope, nit it works juts as good on them.
Permalink Reply by Michael T. Douglas on November 14, 2011 at 8:02pm I've seen videos where people are hit with a taser and it won't completely immobilize them. They'll have movement in their arms, but they're usually grabbing the affected area in pain.
Permalink Reply by PRIME_Ω_PREDATOR on November 14, 2011 at 8:11pm It won't work if both probes don't make contact. You haven't seen a video where both probes have made contact and the target stays up. I've been hit 3 times. once in training and twice by accident in the middle of a shit storm. The pain is unbearable. Heavy clothing can keep the probes from connecting. Loose clothing can keep the probes from connecting. Believe me, the damn things cause excruciating pain.
Permalink Reply by Michael T. Douglas on November 14, 2011 at 8:40pm I've seen a video where a guy was running from the cops and got hit with a taser. He looked like he was diving into water like a dolphin.
Permalink Reply by PRIME_Ω_PREDATOR on November 15, 2011 at 3:22pm I chased a guy across a grass yard a couple years back. Hit him with the probes. When we flipped him over he was green from his nose to his toes.

I love how they do the Taser Flop!
that's what i was talking about, your whole body just cramps up and you can't do anything. man i wish they weren't illegal where i live. that would give my stun glove so much more kick. as it is now it just hurts allot kinda like your being burned. yes i tested it on myself. i had to know okay!
