Weapons of the zombie world

Okay, i've seen a few discussions about what would be your favorite weapon, the best weapon and so on. But now I got a brain twister, What would be the worst weapon to have in a zombie world, I mean the one weapon you do not want to use against the living dead.
Word of advice, this is a serious discussion so no toy bow and arrow like answers

As far as zeds go I want to have distance between me and them. If I get down to hand to hand or even melee weapons then there is something wrong. If there are that many zeds that I have to get up close and personal then the likelihood of getting mobbed is very high. But I'd rather have a cheap crappy Home Shopping Network Katana then go hands on. Not that I wouldn't go hands on. It is a habit I can't seem to get rid of.  The worst weapon in the Zpoc is the one you don't have.

well i guess the worst weapon would be blow darts. while you could kill a normal human with poison tipped darts and it is vertualy silent it would be completely useless against zombies. in fact no mater what you did you couldn't kill a zombie with a blow dart.

A lot of blow darts use alkaloid poisons from frogs which effect the nervous system, so those types would work as well against a zombie just as it would against a human. Some of the frog's poison is so toxic it will kill a human just by having skin contact. So some indiginous people would be fine in a ZA lol.

Its all going to depend on what type of body functions zeds have. No one knows for sure what their going to be like. If their nervous system is still intact, it may very well take them down. What if the virus that has made them like that, has taken over the all the neurological pathways. For instance, for years when animals got rabbies they would have to shoot them, it wasn't till the last 50 years or so they came up with a toxin that would kill the animal quickly, and effectively once they had rabbies too.

Well, most poisons work with the transfer of blood to the central organs. If the zombies are really "dead" as we call them, poison is usless. But I am goin to stick with the theory that zombies have shut down all "unessesary" vital organs- shut all off but the respitory, circulatory, nervous and muscular. Zombies only need enough air to feed the brain, and enough energy to move the muscles. The digestive system may be working, but I doubt it. Shoot a zombei in the lung may kill it, but a head shot it the only way to instantly dispatch it.

Okay, Im going to give my own worst possible weapon in a zombie attack. Landmines.

The idea seems ideal, plant your garden and then watch through your binoculars how every zed blows himself up.

But mines do not blow up a person, they take off a leg and seriously injure that person. Landmines create cripple zombies which are far harder to spot. But in all fairness I would go for any weapon other then an exposive one. With zombies you try to destroy the brain and explosives are simply not accurate enough.

I guess the worse kinda weapon would be no weapon, hand to hand combat would frighten me the most.

well no weapon would be better then using a prosthetic leg as a club... especially if its your own.

Nun-chucks; Think about it two really badly balanced sticks that you must get really close to use and once you do probably wan't kill on the first blow.

Flaming Arrows --- Great now you have a pile of flesh coming at you, ON FIRE!

Throwing Weapons (Knife's,Star's,Tomahawk,etc)--- You have now thrown your only weapon and missed! Good Luck!

Bear Repellent/Mace --- "Get Back! I'll use this!" As you spray you see that the zed cannot, for it's eyes have gone missing, you are now dead.

Stun Gun --- You may be giving the undead some jolt's but not enough too restart it's heart or incapacitate it, you are now dead.

Discharging a Firearm sideways --- You pull your side arm out and hold it sideways and pull the trigger as fast as you can, when the smoke has cleared all you can see is teeth sinking into your flesh. (These same rules may apply with bump firing and dual wielding  as well)
