First, the automatic door is good in theroy, but what if the grid goes down? No electricty=no power, and using a generator would be a verry poor choice, there way too noisey. But get rid of that and your good to go bro. Stock up, stay quiet, live and if need be, get the hell to the marsh lands!!!
I'm heading west to the Arizona area, where i'm at now is just way to populated, Ohio is gonna be hell to get out alive.
If and when the situation arrises i would do one of these things to ensure my own and a select few others safety.
1. Board up the house i currently live in, completally stocked with guns, knives, food ect. Board up the windows and doors, bust up the stairs, and live on the second floor untill i need to move.
2. Get as fast as i can across town to my girlfriends house, she has a top floor appartment with 1 stairway in and a balcony which could be an emegency exit if need be. Bust up the stairs and wait it out.
3. Get to the lake closest to my house, get my uncles pontoon boat, which is full stocked (in case of emergencies, I. E. This) and set sail for the deepest water.

Any suggestions?
keep plenty of ammo live in various places at night just keep everything secure even feild test it
I live in a small town nestled in some foothills. The first place I would go would probably be a supermarket (i.e. Wal Mart and the like), 'cause those are your best bets for the necessities: food, clothing, antibiotics, painkillers, ammo and guns, gas. After that I would head out to one of the strip mining jobs and ride all the way to the top so I that the concentration of deadboys wouldn't be so thick, and I'd sit tight and just wait it out for some kind of help for a couple of days. If none was forthcoming, I would head back into town, re-up on supplies, which I would do ever so often, and kick it Daniel Boone style for the rest of my life.
A second choice for a living scenario would be to head to Norris Lake, which is about 30 minutes from my house, and load down my family's houseboat with my supplies, and hole up on the lake.

wen me and my buddies would train we would use paint ball guns,so we built foxwholes on my land which is 20 miles to the closest town,we built them on a large hill over looking the valleys, then we thaut since we already have the foxwholes in a curcle we should conjoun then all to make a bunkerthat has protection of a 360 degrees killzone where you can see people coming up to 400 yards away is easaly houses up to 17 people, it has a barricks, storige room and the outside ring of foxholes its all undergound hard to see at a distance and in the center there is an old stormshelter turned into a kittchen and could be used as a bomb shelter.as weve gotten older we have inproved the bunker, its defenses and developed a group called UNIT 33 we requier our members to store canned goods ammo and water,we must have a high powerd rifle and a shotgun, our plan is to bring our gear to the bunker if anything happens and live there until everything blows over, although we are training for if a civil war happens or amarica is attacked if this happens we will do the same thing,we have ranks and duties and we function like an actual unit...if any are intrested in joining UNIT 33 or have any questions contact me
My house. Only entrance is up narrow and steep slope around the back of house one floor above street level, no front access. Cement fences and re-enforced door to break through before entering the garden. And they gey in i can shoot them with an arrow (no guns in the UK) from my window which has an excellent vantage point. Mesh Many mesh fences to navigate through two steel doors get through to enter to enter house. Three floors with narrow stairs to struggel up. Our handy man shop under house with plenty of stuff to protect our house. Restaurant next door with garage full of food. If all else fails we have a small area which can only be enterd by climbing up the cement fence/wall.
a barn or abbandoned store building, you could use the junk inside to make barakades and also make a living place in the saffest part of the place
