What about halfers?
Some of you guys may have heard of centrient beings. Frankly, I think they're way more dangerous than zombies. What would you do to try and detect one?

there was the case of that character in Monster Island, who purposely killed himself medically, yet kept oxygen to his brain. But in the Campion virus pathology, I don't see it happening. Not to say that it couldn't happen. Who knows? Stranger things could happen.

If Centrient beings did exist, they would be as unnatural and unwelcome as any zombie. Part, half, whole...I will return them to the dirt where the belong...BWA HAHAHAHA!

I don't know how intelligent they'd be. I assume they'd be able to ascertain some memory of their previous existence, but I don't think there could be, in essence, a 'human' zombie in terms of intelligence. But I do think there could be a few that are more clever and more intelligent to some extent, and they must be eradicated immediately.
