yup they all run and are used every day but if worst comes to worst i could take a horse from one of my neighbors
canned food, water barrels , and the entire ali g show on dvd
ali g?
I have a backpack with jerky (replaced every two months or so), knives, light tools, lighter + extra fluid, binoculars, a blanket, and maps of the immediate area. I keep an ex-army jacket and some hiking boots next to that in case i need to run. That should do me until the next village if i need to run.
I've been watching Man vs. Wild. That guy Baer Grylls knows his sh*t!
Ray Mears > Bear Grylls. He's just a more boring presenter.
what about Les Stroud(Survivorman), Jamie Hyneman(no survival show, but confirmed survival expert), Josh Bernstein(president and CEO of Boulder Outdoor Survival School [B.O.S.S.]), and Mors Kochanski(one of the world's finest bushcraft instructors and writers)?
Well- Ive been stocking on caned foods and water. Ive nearly purchased all of my survival gear [including water purification] [ Ive secured the possibilities of natural disasters in buying those items also- including crank/solar generators] All that remains are a few expensive items, and a few anti-zombie wardrobe pieces. Ive finished my basement in turning it into a secondary fortress. [-that leads to the outside] I'm currently in the process of building my underground fortress. [which will be my primary] & Ive located several people in my vicinity who are prepared as well. [ Just in case. I might need a friend that I know will survive. ] Unfortunately I don't have a anti-zombie vehicle ... So I might start on that in the next year
or so. Hopefully Ill come up with some sort of Storm Chasers lorry.
Don't get stuck on a vehicle. Cars and truck will have value for about 1 to 2 years after a Zpoc begins. Gas, diesel and fuel oil begin to gel after about 12 months. You can add stabilizers but they don't extend the shelf life much and then they dilute the fuel too. With all the stabilizers in it the fuel won't burn as efficiently. You don't want to go putting all kinds of cash into something that you'll only use for a short time. Look around your area. Know where your abulance stations are at. Know where you police SWAT/CRT units house there vehicles. In all likelyhood you'd never have access to these and they will be in use anyway. Hell bread delivery trucks, UPS vans, Heavy Duty pickups and Armored Trucks, they all will be useful in any kind of disaster.
or you can go get a converter kit and turn your car into a biovehichle
Someone still has to extract the veggie oil. good luck.

in the Zombie Apocalypse won't people die, get dragged out of, or abandon their cars in in the first hours, jamming the roads with vehicles in any urban center or main roads?
