Where do you cross the line of what you would do for self preservation? Would you kill innocents? Would you eat your loved ones? how far would you go?

Liam, I'll probably be that family. If noit then you learn to hunt. If you wait for someone else to take care of you then you're screwed.
All social rules go out of the window during the ZA, pillage and loot to survive, kill those in my way. leave the toilet seat up in every house.

I couldn't eat a Human, not a whole one at least. If i needed to i would but it would never come to that. I'd eat dwarf before Human.
You can survive without turning to a complete animal.
I understand that a lot of people on this and other boards have no clue what it takes to survive. They are stuck on their video games and believe that they are going to run to the mall and steal what they need. They are going to kick in their neighbors door and take what they need. They are going to pick up any gun and know how to turn off the safety, release a magazine or even use the sights. These people just aren't that badass. I've been dealing with people like this for more then 25 years in the ARMY and Police work. These are the people who are first in line to whine when the government comes around to "HELP". They are the first to hide when the SHTF and when the hard work shows up. They are the first for handout and the first to complain because THEY did not have the forethought to prepare for disaster. These are the drones that the government likes because they are vicitms and victims need to be cared for.

You might get one free meal from me if you ask nicely. You might get one free night of shelter or helped out with an injury. At some point in a disaster situation the freebies stop and you pay one way or another. If you try to take what is mine or what belongs to someone I am allied with you may pay with something you aren't prepared to give up.

Why were horse thieves hung in the old west? Because horses were the most important transportation of that time. If you let someone stranded in what used to be the wilderness of this nation they were sure to die. If you try to take what I've saved and prepared to survive because you weren't smart enough, brave enough or ambitious enough then you pay the price.
I dnt know about you guys but if a stranger is asking me for help man or woman i will help them after checking there entire body for bite marks i dnt want to die just for tryin to help some1 remember safety lies in numbers another able bodied person with a weapon can be a help you never know he or she could save your life in the future. Secondly all of you people saying you would eat some1 your full of shit. Talk is cheap its easy to say somthing and not go through with it. the minute you start to peel flesh off another human being is the second you will stop and if you do decide to actually eat another human being you might as well be a zed because you would have already lost any ounce of humanity you had left. last time i checked there is a gas station with food, walmart, or a fast food resturaunt on every corner im pretty sure food will be the most common thing to come across. If i were you guys id be more worried about guns, ammo, and defensive/offensive supplies. Even if you have to loot a house for food atleast you will be armed to deal with any possible trouble you may in-counter, if your unarmed your good as dead.
My point is that based on recent disasters and the gorvernment red tape and political infighting, I don't plan on depending on anyone but my own. I'm sure not going to depend on some pimply-faced shut-in no-nothing gamer who has been raised on energy drinks and hot pockets. I'm not talking a ficticious or real Zpoc. I'm talking any disaster, manmade or natural.
One principle that stands true is that in a worldwide catastrophe such as the zpocalypse, you're going to have to count on #1. On a larger stage, there would surely be some concerted efforts to maintain government (i.e. police forces, military forces, legislative, judicial, and executive entities, etc.). But on a smaller scale, everyone would HAVE TO rely on themselves more than on anyone else. We would need to band together due to the whole 'strength in numbers' principle, but there would be leaders, and those of us who have a few more years on some of the others and some outdoor/survival experience than the rest would be in more of a position to assume that authority in order to implement structure into such a chaotic situation.
Shit dude so what are you doing in a zombie blog commenting all day long and dont get a job? with all your "badass" skills im pretty sure you can be at least bodyguard of the president, Hey i know these people think using a sword, aiming a gun its so simple for all movies but you dont even know what terror, and that kind of chaos situations wake up in normal péople, they become wild ...

When you face death , you cant say your LUCK,SKILLS, or CLEVERNESS saved you...itys was your INSTINCT and i know because i make little kapoeira, tae kwon do, i was in a car accidenta long ago, and i saw a friend getting shot for the money in his wallet and nobody did anything it was another man instinct of taking his money, and his life... so he could survive.
I have a job. I've been a police officer for 20 years. I'm replying to this post from my work desk as I wait on a criminal complaint to print out. (It is 0835 hours EST) It is because of my job that I have developed these "BADASS" skills that I have. Part of my "skills" is being able to flesh out pretenders. There are many pretenders around who don't have a clue what they're talking about. They try to act the part but it shows through so clearly that a blind man can see it.

Yes I do know what happens to people in a chaotic situation. I've been in the middle of riots. I've been in the middle of huge fights and small fights and I've responded to robberies and I've been shot at in the line of duty. People react differently, especially if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I know that those who stand back and access the situation fair a lot better then someone who jumps in with both feet and a closed mind. You've got a lot of Iraq and Afghanistan war vets on this sight. They've seen more then I have when it comes to firefights and survival. They've been in the middle of utter chaos and survived. It is one thing to say you know how to fight but a whole other thing to have been in a fight. It is again something different to have been in a fight and won or lost.

From your last post it would appear that you have a problem with my comments and my skills. If that is so it is your problem and I suggest you ignore me and my comments and my skills.
I would also have to agree with prime most people wouldnt even know how to operate a gun let alone shoot, clean, load, or even fire 1. A gun is a tool and just like any other tool if you dont maintain it then chances are its going to malfunction or break then your really srewed bottom line if you DONT have experience in what your saying people then dont say it you just look stupid.
i would kill infeccted anyone inocents who are elderly or stand no chance of survival no my parents cant be eaten thats as far as i will go
It all comes down to survival. Killing innocents would be insane because you need as many able bodies as you can get when the undead arrive. Eating loved ones is a hard one. I think it would be more logical to eat a pet or an animal that you find before you eat a family member or a friend. If we furned and ate or loved one first before looking at other options, are we not better then the undead them selves?
