What do you love/hate about Lost Zombies?

We're going to be updating the site, I know I say that all the time and things more or less stay the same. BUT THIS TIME I MEAN IT!

Anyway, we'd like to know the stuff you like and/or hate about LZ. You can say whatever you like, but try to be constructive. 

Specifically we'd like to know what features you like, for example:

I LOVE:

- Chat
- My profile page
- Blogs

I HATE:

- Forums
- Pictures

You can also say stuff like....

"I hate that skot has a beard in his dumb videos (not contructive, but go for it)"

"I love those little green boxes on the right hand side!"

"WTF is with those green boxes?! UGLY! I hate them"

I like the site a lot. One thing I would do is, like on other forums, put the top faq's at the top of the page. Such as,"Whats your safe house?", "What do you listen to while zed hunting?" or, "Your perfect zed killing weapon." As these threads tend to pop up once a week. Also, Skot, give us more damn time on the projects! Sometimes a weeks not enough.

More than a week on projects would cause issues I believe. If we're taking a solid month to shoot a small video...thats 12 projects a year...rather than 52. So bumping up the project timeframe would really cut back on the number of specific projects they need for the film.

You have a solid week to film a 3 second to 3 minute video. That seems like plenty of time to me.

Besides, you can still enter the contests as late as you feel. You just wont have the opportunity to win. That doesn't mean your video cant still make it into the film though!

I agree with josh. One week notification is not much time at all. I had a kick ass vid planned but need more then a week to shoot it. Thinking about shooting it anyways and posting it for the hell of it. Other then that, love LZ.com.

well those green boxes are a bit annoying for the fact that there isn't a choice of keeping or getting rid of them on ur profile page they're just there...oh! and better emoticons! teehee ;)

My only complaint is that there's not enough beard on you, Skot. You need to go all "30 year Amish" style beard.

I think my only real complaint is that I think the site is still a bit awkward to get used to for new members. It seems they're not really sure what to do once they've made an account so they just leave? They'll be on updating their pages saying it's awesome for a week...then just vanish off the site never to come back again...

Not a big forum user myself as I find the comments on sumbissions/blogs etc to be my kind of forum.

One request is that perhaps we could have an extension to the 'lastest activity' sidebar so that we can catch up on what's going on if we've been away.

On many occasions I have missed videos and photos etc and only found them months later when someone else stumbles upon them and makes a comment.

That aside...everything else is great.
