Bike riding leathers are bite proof. I don't mean your stylish leather jacket I mean the real road racing stuff. I mean, how sharp did Mad Max look? LOL.
No weapons? your in Britain my good man, where is your cricket bat? You may as well use it to kill zombies as you can;t seem to use them well for there intended purpose :) (aussie here)
actually armored riding leathers aren't a bad idea...not to heavy but still bite/scratch proof I have considered them multiple times and that is what I think I would go with for clothing along with knee and elbow pads. To carry gear I'd go with the old school belt and suspenders, most people prefer tacvests these days but that system always worked for me. For weapons AR, Handgun, and a good knife, simple and effective.
easy, it not may be the most functional but does looks badass:
Leather black wild west coat (thick, bite proof), my black hat, maybe a "poncho" for hot times, my Henry repeater, and my boots, this comes woth a survival beard and mustach and well the hear hasnt been decided
I'd wear something comfortable, Maybe a thin thermal with my old army jacket, my normal Dickies pants, and Boots, and motocross arm/wrist guards. For weapons Saginaw M1 carbine, mining pick, and my .38. I'm going with that since its what I have ready.
I would do what i do every day... Roll out of bed and throw on a shirt and jeans. And then throw on my trench coat grab a .38 special my knives and go find some good weapons... most prefereably a single shot rifle.
