Let's say that the zombie apocalypse that turns this world into the next best thing to hell is not brought on by a virus or man made biological weapon, but the biblical end of days. I myself am not a religious man by any standard, but what if iam wrong, what if we are all are wrong. when hell pukes it's army of living dead on this world to destroy all of mankind and you grab your weapon and ammo perpaired to do battle with the virual or bio-infected zombies only to find out with your first head shot that the creatures are not effected by this half hearted attempt at sending it back to the pits from wich it came. how would this chang your plans of survival????
John the Baptist wrote in the Book of Revelation that Pestilence (contaigious disease) will be rampant across the globe prior to the Battle of Armageddon. It is also said that after the devine rapture, those remaining on earth will not be able to die unless killed by the beast or his agents. It speaks of men stabbing themselves in the heart, but not expiring, causing them misery untold.
If you combine the two, it points (at least a little) to zombies.
The Bible is an amazing read. Im an athiest, but the christian faith's views on the end of days seems to line up pretty well with the state of affairs in the world today.
I have several plans for zombie apocalypse in place, and my grandmother's bible is tucked carefully in my zombie response pack. Even an athiest knows that in a time of dispair, religion gives some comfort to the troubled, something I see missing in almost all zombie survival plans.
In this type of case it's time to start seeking higher powers. This world is built on a balance of powers not good nor evil but a balance so if those rules come into play then I would be looking into others that have the power to send things back from which they came. If you are christian then you have your priests. If you are pagan then then you have your priest(ess) as well and let them taste that kind of defense. If you are in the east then you have shinto charms and wards that will drop them back to once they came.(if I left you out of the list please don't be mad just listing a few people I would go to for help)
But if you speak of a over filling hell then you are also agreeing that their must be powers that has let them lose into our world. So in closing I would stand and fight them as I saw fit.
Id try to play it cool like Bruce Campbell,,walk out my front door with a shotgun over my shoulder, revolver in the other hand and say to the first beast i see,"Yo she-bitch, lets go"
