I mean machete's are pretty good weapons if it wasnt for the blood splatter and possible risk of infection from said blood. nothing beats a gun imo but you use what you have.

Well, then I guess.... if the apocalypse's really really appear on 2012 with destructive earthquakes and horrible tsunamies, I hope it could also wiped out the undead and the infected as well...
But, there'll be one or two zombies that survive or resurrect to (then) spreading the infected again... (I hope not!)
Are there any interconnection between the Global Warming and the mysterious infected-uncured virus and the holocaust of the armaggedon 2012 ?

2012 or 2021, if the apocalypse appearing and destroy half population of planet earth... would it be any infected survivor ? Are the jungle or mountain deep caves can be considered as a save place away from the infected undead ?

Well, 2012 is predicted as the end of time by people who don't really understand the Mayan Calendar and what it represents. I am regurgitating a bit of information here so I cannot take credit for having researched this myself...thank the History Channel.

As I have come to understand it, the Mayans did everything in cycles. The end of one cycle was indicated by the beginning of the next. thing of it in terms of several circles, the smallest being in the center and each subsequently larger ring being another, longer cycle. The Mayans calculated their cycle calendar out to several thousand years worth and what you have as the "End of the Mayan Calendar" which occurs on the Winter Solstice (Dec. 21st), 2012, is not necessarily the end of days at all, simply the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. Furthermore, the Mayans, if they believed anything about the end of their calendar, seem likely to have believed that it was an event of great spiritual significance...not John Cusack saving the world eight times in the last ten minutes of his movie...which was atrocious in my opinion. I hope that this was edifying. As I said, none of this information was garnered from me inspecting the Mayan calendar myself and drawing intelligent conclusions...I owe it all to the history channel.

It is generally accepted in film and in literature that there is no cure for whatever it is that causes otherwise inert human remains to rise up and start snacking on pedestrians. However, I think that ultimately there is a cure for anything...Cancer, Herpes, my wife spending our money on cat toys...

The issue here is, if society is so quickly and destructively swept up in this chaos, will we have the time and resources to develop a cure? My answer, ultimately, would be no. Let's face facts, most of the people who will be smart enough to research let alone develop any type of serum to arrest the spread of such an infection will likely be gobbled up early on...leaving a bunch of lunk heads like myself to run into the woods and act like barbarians until the damn zombies rot away enough they are no longer capable of aggression.

lets say, if there is no cue for the spreading virus, we just might have to hope it doesnt become ariborne, otherwise, we`d be fucked o.0

now, physiologically speaking, if we wait for the zombies to die off, well, it doesnt take that long, they are the unded, their bodies have started a decomposition state, which by probably 3 months they die just by rotting away... i guess we can thank our friend oxygen for doing that.. o.o

Eventually shoot myself in the dead. Killing over and over and over is going to get boring sooner or later.
Eating canned rations or drinking raindrop water is going to get stale.
