What If we didn't know?
I was simply wondering what would happen if we were going on with our day to day lives and suddenly bam a hoard of zombies start charging from around the corner (there wa s nothing hinting to this situation) You have no weapons apart from your hands Do you help others , run or just stear in terror?

Grab the guns, climb up on the roof and start shooting. Get as many as we can before we jump in the jeep with dogs & head out. Jeep is always gassed and equipped for emergency travel with food & water, knife w/flint, blankets, dynamo lantern, 32 Mile Walkie that can pick up CB channels,etc. 4 wd 5 sp with 3" lift and 33" AT tires. We can go just about anywhere I need to in that baby.
We live in open flat country, with no buildings, trees, etc for miles. The only way they could surprise us is by coming up the hill from the north, but the dogs would smell/hear them before they got to the ridge.
Depending on how big the horde is, would depend on whether we hole up to take them all out or get far enough away to decide on what the next step is. Could always go into rough country, circle around and go back to the ranch after they have moved on. Not too much to munch on in these parts except rabbits, deer, kangaroo mice and an occasional elk. 2 people per square mile (or less in some areas)

i'd get the hell out of there, if that's not doable, I'd look for something, anything, I could use as a weapon and try to keep them off me until I can get away
