What is canonical to the LZ project

I want to jump in head first and contribute to and promote this project as much as possible. I'm very excited to be part of this community and am eager to film, write, and produce as much as I can.

That being said I need to know what zombie refrences we can site that are going to be canon to the LZ project.

Which films and books are canonical to what LZ is trying to do?

Is the Zombie Survival Guide something we can use in our films as a "real" guide or is it just a silly fun work of fiction?

Which infection types does LZ subscribe to? Is it viral, airborne gas, radiation, satelite from Venus, or voodoo ritual?

Do zombies run or stagger?

In zombie lore there are several conflicting ideas on how zombies are made, movie, and think. I just want to be on the same page as the LZ crew so I can produce the best work possible for them.
