What is the best weapon to choose?
If there was a weapon that you can choose to have- and is common, what would it be?

i would have to say a grindale and a shot gun with a 9mm hand gun and for your man a 80 cal. sub macine turet gun and a p70 and your standered body armour and swat helmet

It really depends on the task at hand if you ask me. I mean, if I'm trying to sneak through a town unnoticed and need to take out one or two then I'm not gonna grab an A.K. and dump a clip. On the other hand if i'm surrounded i'm not going for the crowbar and run in screaming GET SOME, GET SOME. A time for everything and everything in its time.

For the grindale, maybe he meant the 6.5mm Grendel round. Though I have no idea as to where he got the idea of an .80 caliber machine gun.

Most ships in the U.S. fleet have .70 caliber deck guns that are full auto, but are so large that I can't even begin to imagine the back problems that would ensue from having to lug one of those around. Even in 5 man teams, those guns would be very awkward and heavy.

I would use a pair of butterfly swords or a spear weapon. Guns are nice and really good at keeping the zombies at a safe distance but sooner or later they are going to be on your six. When they get there it would probably be good to have a good hand to hand combat training.

well zombiez are ya know dead living things so thier skin would actually be quite frail if you think about it. the skin is rotted and stuff so yeah a gun at safe distance but soon the bastards will be uber close to you so i would use a sword of some sort or somthin sharp and that has a nasty lil bite

I would agree about the crowbar, and other blunt objects, but my samurai sword should make for a more efficient killing tool, if only i was not afraid of getting close to these bastards, so i would go with my man pale horseman here and take the m4....

I agree, but it all comes down to whether you are looking for a weapon with overall benefits or strictly a killing machine. Surely a katana would be more effective than a crowbar for killing. It takes less effort to kill, it is a tool meant for it. But outside of a battle arena, i'd take the crowbar. It's a much more useful thing to be carrying around.
