What is the best weapon to choose?

My M4 cause it can take long distance shots as well as having sufficient sustained fire capability.

Butt stroke works. M-4s are built very ruggedly. They've been around a long time and have served many people well.
This shotgun pic is very similar to one that I own. You can see it on my profile album. Once it goes empty it becomes a club. any gun that goes empty becomes a club if you have nothing else.

People tend to think a head shot is easy to make. Ever made a head shot on a target traveling at three and half to four miles an hour? That takes skill. You have to calculate for range, wind speed, lead, ect. The average person doesn't know these things. Let alone have access to a good spotter and a high caliber rifle capable of those great nine hundred yard shots. This is why I highly recomend a good shotgun. Anyone can shoot one. And the head shot is easy. Trust me, it's sure thing. But over all, I think the best weapon against these things is a nuke. Who's got one?

i recon a nuke would be a bad thing because it would only kill the zombies close enough to incinerate radiation wouldent kill them and would be deadly after for any suvivours

I agree, there's too much damage a nuke does to the living. Nuclear fallout can exist for more than 100 years after detonation.
Head shots aren't that difficult. It's about timing, and training. Plus, how many zombies do you think will really have the ability to run that quickly? The bodies are being reanimated. This means it will not be restored to its previous condition. Consider a muscles ability to perform functions when it isn't used. If you break a leg and have it in a cast for 6-8 weeks, you're muscles have deteriorated due to lack of use. Now imagine that a persons been dead for 6 months to a year...

about the reanimation thing thats only a specific definition most commonly used by george a romaro but think of it scientifically most of the out break will happen to living people a deterioration of the brain were the brain stem will function and thats it the heart will beat they can walk without thought of self preservation balance will be screwed but they could still balance to a degree so they could run

Well, I for one wouldn't be dumb enough to engage at NINE HUNDRED YARDS. What dumbass would? My top range would be, at most, about 150 yards (once again, 150 yards TOPS). However, my more realistic range would be about 50 yards for optimum engagement distances.
