What is your dream load-out.

Okay. Here is the scenario.

You, my lucky Zed Eradicator, have won the lottery. Yes, you have won the big one. When it is all said and done you will walk away with at least $100,000,000. One Hundred Million Dollars my friends. You know the Zpoc is coming. You have about a year to prepare. You've got to live with in the law up to the point the Zpoc hits. Your purchases must be with in the law and reasonably attainable in today's world and the nation you choose to reside in. Weapons that are unattainable or illegal in today's world are still illegal and unattainable in this thread. How will you prepare?

Weapons: Springfield XD 45. compact, Beretta 92FS Inox, Taurus Judge Model 4510 3'' barrel this one is for my mum :D, Taurus Raging Bull 416 Revolver,FN Five-Seven USG Semi Automatic Handgun 5.7x28mm, Mossberg 930 SPX with ghost ring sights and pistol grip.

 

Equipment: A LOT of Toilet Paper, canned food, bottled water and mre's to last 3 people a year, solar powered generator.Fox Tactical Enforcement boots. Umm i know there's more..... I'll post it if comes to me, but for now I think this is good.

I will get it started.

There have got to be some missile SILOs out there still for sale. Likely pretty cheap too. Most of these places were surrounded by a lot of land. 

One of these may not be available so then I'd just buy a lot of land in and around my retirement property in the Missouri Ozarks. I have 20 acres there now. I would build a central compound surrounded by 4 foot concrete wall topped with 12 foot chain linked fence and razor wire. You need power so the best combination of solar, wind and geothermal would be employed. You might see something like these on and near my compound.

I'd run cattle and other livestock. I've already got my own horses. The reason for livestock is clear and simple. Food.

Moving on. Transportation will be difficult in the cities. It will be difficult anywhere. I'd likely set up with some Osh Kosh vehicles like this. Light armored and mobile. Some small add ons and adjustments and you've got a nice safer vehicle

 and maybe one of these for major movements/operations.

If they can't be purchased I'd go with available SUVs and dump trucks. Maybe even a converted bus. A lot of Police Departments have old Winnebagos set up as mobile HQs. It isn't hard to do. I'd prefer something that can move through rough terrain though. I'd prefer diesel engines too. There'd also be plenty of normal vehicles for normal chores and training.

 

There would be a variety of personal weapons. Mostly AR 15 carbine and 1911 pistols. Build a training facility on part of the land and open asap. Hire decent trainers on my tab and bring in cops, sheriffs, military and private security for free training. At any point in time you'll have the trainers and trainees on the property. Room for family is a must if the SHTF. You'll have a built in private army for when the SHTF.

Any land not being used for training will be used for growing crops and farming. Reloading ammo is easy and can be stored on sight. Remember, you've got 1 year.

Holy Crap! I was thinking to small, probaly cause I've never won anything before and wouldn't know what to do with all that cash lol. The LAV that's in in one of your pics is nice, definitely would want something like that to keep you alive on drives through hostile areas. Large wide open land with an electric fence perimeter, the livestock and cattle are something I would definitely want even though Im not much of a farmer. The private army is a awesome idea even though i wouldn't know were to start with recruiting or training.

The recruiting is in the free training. Plus you hire the best available trainers. You've got $100,000,000. You put them on salary. Recruitment comes from free training offered to LEO and private firms and military. Not that they will stick around but there will likely be people training on property at all times. Or you just start your own security force. Hire out and train in house. You can have the employees live on site with their families as a benefit. You know that if they are sent a distance for a security job they will likely try to get back to their families. Plus you are likely to want to get them back because you've invested in them.

Private army could be made up of volunteers. Don't forget, in the z-poc people will feel safer together. There's a good chance they'll stick around if you help keep them alive. You know, shelter them, feed them.

Oh there will be all kinds of volunteers after the Zpoc has started. The thread is a build up to the Zpoc. Getting yourself prepared. You start a security firm and offer training. That is where your recruiting happens. At any one time you should have a number of people training on your compound. These are what you have to choose from.

Awesome. My friends and I talk about this a lot actually. I would do pretty much the same thing you did. Start off with at least 30-40 acres, a big, sturdy house for H.Q., most def an underground room with a tunnel that leads into a wooded area for escape or to regroup. A natural spring for water, and a few caves. Oh yeah, it would also be in Texas. Not too different from what prime is talkin about. Lol, it's not different at all actually. It's pretty much the perfect place me and my friends talk about all the time. Good to know I'm not crazy and a few other people think like me

First off I'd buy some land in the Rockies somewhere and have a fortified compound built. Stock it with food, weapons, ammo, and every form of communication possible. Then, I'd buy some land in the plains and have a fortified compound built there as well, this will be my place where I create renewable resources. Now considering the cost, I'd buy a very small island and have a medical facility built there to find a cure. Security access at the Rockies compound would be strict as fuck, the only way in will be by blood test from several areas of the body. This will all be run by willing survivors, of course. The medical facility will probably be the most expensive, fuck, it will probably be just an empty building until scientists and doctors fill it with what they need.
