What is your favorite zombie book??

My favorites so far are world war z and zombie survival guide by Max Brooks. I just bought Patient Zero by Jonathan Maberry, The Living Dead which is a collection of short stories by famous authors such as Stephen King, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombie by Jane Austin and Seth Grahame-Smith.

Give me your take on this books if you have read them.

my zday books are good for morals and survival but dont teach much about zombies

My favorite zombie book of all time has to be a book by Johnathan Mayberry (hope I spelled that right xD) called: Patient Zero. I've read alot of zombie books, but patient zero has to be one of the best pieces of literature that I have read. This book is so well written and it almost gets to the point that you start to believe that Joe Ledger and his adventures really happened.

My favorite is the series by Len Barnhart called "Reign of the Dead" ," Reign of the Dead Apocalypse End" and the third of the series should be out soon if not already...

I just finished reading Max Brooks' WWZ for the 3rd time. Definitely going down as one of my favorite reads of all time. Pick up "Zombies, Encounters with the Hungry Dead" , John Skipp, for a additional story that didn't make it into his book!

Zombie Survival Guide, Desperate Souls and The Living Dead are great. Marvel Zombies is also a guilty pleasure of mine.

Brian Keene's The Raising is great, also City of the dead. As a matter of fact most of Keene's books are great reading, I think anybody who is into good storytelling and zombies, should read Conqueror Worms. Not a zombie book, but a excellent read.

I loved World War Zn but what's better then that is the audio book of it. Tons of big names and a few sound effects. Starwars death troops is also a good auid book.
