What is your one horrible weakness in a Zpoc? You'll be surprised to hear mine
Ok, I have the skills, the equip, the location, etc in real time in the real world. As I have mentioned many times, I live 100% off grid in the Rockies.
So what's my biggest fear or weakness? What scares the shit out of me?
I wear glasses. I am horribly myopic to the point that without corrective lenses I can see clearly only about 8 inches in front of me. Genuine coke bottles! Typically I wear contacts and have several pairs of glasses on hands.
But contacts eventually break down and get rips, pin holes or rough edges. And they have an expiration date, wherein the plastics also get weaker the older they get, even unopened, so they don't last as long and would be kinda worthless after 10-15 years of stockpiling. And they have maintantence issues with cleaning, solution, etc.
And glasses get scratched up, break or are easily ripped off your face. Plus they impede your vision during rain and get fogged up easily (Try wearing glasses in a gas mask sometime)
This concerns me to the point that I have seriously considered Lasik, because this is my one big Achilles' Heel in life. Especially when it comes to night vision, I'd be absolutely useless without glasses on or contacts in. I could see well enough during the day to drive a car, but not well enough to scout the horizon or shoot and actually hit something.
So, what is your Achille's Heel - what is your one horrible weakness that may end up causing your demise or swing the advantage against you in a disaster or Zpoc?

ha....ha....ha.... I love to get drunk, i smoke like a speedin' fuckin' night train, i do like sports (til i graduate from college), i have a very bad temper, fuckin' careless and i spit a lot !

Mine is that I am a really heavy sleeper and this may be changeable but I am kinda scared that it wont so I will wake up with a zeds teeth in my neck.

I'd suggest having a dog along with you. Something fast and speedy with guts, but little, like a jack russell/fox terrier - they are the ultimate sight, sound and smell dogs. You just have to train one not to get all barky on you in every situation, which is doable, but not if you keep a pack of them. Just one good fearless dog.

i have no cardio.
even when I was in very good shape my physical abilities lagged significantly behind people similar to me. No matter how much I tried I could never lift more than 110 lbs, run a mile in anything under 9 minutes, so more than a few push ups or pull-ups. I think eventually this would get my killed in the z-apoc.
I'm also scared of the dark, prone to superstition (like ghosts), more needy (I eat more, drink more, and end up working less), and scared of injury/pain/my own blood. I nearly went into shock that one time I cut my hand, there was a gash about 3/4" long and it was deep, probably to the bone. I feel sick just mentioning that. If I got injured where there's lots of blood pouring out and its painful and the wound is nasty (such as getting shot), I would be pretty much dead if no one is around to help me, I would be in no condition to help myself.
