Let's face it folks. We need to go places from time to time. We can't just sit around in our bunkers sipping coffee for the rest of time. We've got to get out there to replenish supplies, and beat in some brains!

Take in mind that things in Zombieland are generally free for the taking. Money is no longer the burden it once was. It's simply decorative toilet paper and fire starter.

Granted, gas may be a little tricky to get from time to time, but it's still there for the taking anywhere it can be found.

Your feet wear out after a while, and who wants to run around all day when zombies are on the loose when you could just drive?

So, what is your personal choice for transportation?

Let's keep it serious to an extent though. These should be vehicles you can actually manage to get your hands on. But no harm throwing in some unusual dream trucks for us to drool over!

I'm thinking Subaru Baja.

Ugly little things(looks like an ugly car and an ugly truck had an unfortunate one night stand), but what more could you ask for?

4 door, 4wd, decent ground clearance, good hp for the size, decent fuel economy, small truck bed for essentials...and they're all over the place. (at least around here)

Just add some light armor, and watch out zombies!

lol...these would be okay too...but I did say we should keep it serious. ;)

My Tahoe with a snow plow attached to the front.
Well I would like to get a school bus that has been adjusted to preform better. They are large, provide storage, and have multiple safe exits in case of a crash.Add a couple of motorcycles with passenger sides and we are good. But ultimately, I would want to group up and gain control of an amphibious assault ship.

I hope you see the logic in my choice.
i would have a few seats at the back taken out and have two motor bikes in place and have a ramp. Open the back door, lower ramp to ground, ride off for recon/quick assault/extra defense/etc
I would pick a 1994-1999 Jeep Cherokee for the off road capability and they are everywhere so it would be to hard to find parts for it. Gas mileage isnt that bad either and plenty of cargo space.
2009 Dodge Ram, 6" Lift, 4wd, 4 doors, I own it, throw my quad in the bed and rock n roll.  Just thought I'd turn this forum into a zombie.
I've had some ideas of taking an old truck and turning it into a "tank" for paintball. All i'd have to do is swap out the marker with real guns, and maybe some pipes a few feet off the side to avoid things getting to close to the actual sides of the truck, and be pretty well set for going to places on supply runs. It's not like the zombies will be wielding guns or rocket launchers...... right?
a bike, it never runs out of gas...but if you hit a crowd....o noez
i would want a large truck with a snowplow on the front. easy way to get rid of zombies, and the truck would have enough space for supplies in the back. Plus, if you're stuck in Canada for the winter, the roads are going to be a mess.
I agree!!

That's why I like the polar bear tour bus: http://data.freshtracks.com/trip/churchill_polar_bears_explorer/sli...

I just don't want to move to Churchill to be in close proximity to one of the babies.
army jeep. whats not to love?
The whole no roof or sides thing would be an issue.

lol...but aside from that it would be great.
If I could track down unlimited fuel, then I would love to get my hands on a Caterpillar 797, the largest truck ever. It's used in the tar sands. They stand 23 feet 9 inches tall when the dump bodies are down. They have 12,170 pound-feet of torque available from the 117-liter, V-24, quad-turbo diesel. Of course, the 860 gallon gas tank is going to take a lot to fill. : )

Bring on the swarm. This baby has 2 insulated seats, a cup-holder, a CB radio, but no airbags.

Ok....maybe if I needed to do a cross country trek.
