What is your sidearm for Z-Day?
Well I am a fan of the sawed off shotgun so many different uses whether it's a slug for a head shot or buckshot for clearing a building with dangerous people inside them
And besides nothing says get the fuck away from me like a mouth full of buckshot

I would say My Springfield Armory 1911 A1 .45 a.c.p. Been my sidearm for a long time and has never failed me.

ParaOrdnance P-14 for me. I'm used to the 1911 frame plus you can't go wrong with 14+1 rounds of .45 ACP.

Glock 19, with light and laser and several nice fat 33 round HAPPY STICKS!!
HAPPY STICK is a G-18...33 round magazine, a G-17...17 round mag and a G-19....15 round mag! And yes they all fit in a G-19!!
Like I tell my wife...put the red dot on the bad guy and double tap until they stop moving. :) With this rig and good shot technique you should be able to drop at least 90 Zeds with three Happy Sticks. That's a lot of fire power in a small package!!

I would pick the same sidearm as well because you can't go wrong with the 90 Zeds that have holes in the head.
