What is your zombie plan?

In the event of a zombie outbreak what would you do? Where would you go? How would you survive? What weapons would you use?

What I would do...
In the event of an outbreak the first thing I would do is get some transportation, a selection of weapons even if it was just a wheel brace or cricket bat and supplies including water, equipment for a fire, first aid and food. As if I was going to go camping for a while. I would help other survivors by letting them join me on my journey to an army base. On arrival to the army base finding it empty cause they've either fled, died, became even more zeds or just abandoned their posts. collect as many weapons and ammunition as possible and find myself a workshop I can modify my vehicle in making it armoured and zed proof. If i have came across alot of survivors then using an army vehicle like a troop truck would be best and making sure all the survivors are armed. Then the fun begins, hunt down and slaughter the zeds, no need for medical science for a cure when you have bullets.

In a perfect world I would pack the biggest duffle bag I have with enuff supplies to get me into Canada. Figure I can resupply once I get there.

Chances are though I'd be stuck in traffic on I-5 before I even knew what was happening. If that was the case I'd just drive north until I ran out of gas. The goal would be the coldest place I could find. Frozen zeds are easier to manage.

There's really only three things you need to help you survive:

1) a good belt or some rope
-use it to make a tourniquet
-in a pinch you can climb a tree or a pole
-tie a wounded buddy onto your back
-tons of other stuff

2) a lighter or some matches
-cauterize, sterilize, cookn etc
-stay warm
-set zeds on fire

3) a knife or something that can cut
-use it to make tools and weapons
-field surgery
-hunting food

Actually, I've given this considerable thought over the years.... I've got a friend of mine who is, on the one hand, one of the most intelligent people I've ever met, and on the other hand, a complete nut job. He lives out in the country a little bit (I live in town), a collector of guns (most of which are semi-automatic), and is not in the least bit afraid to use violence when the time comes (plus his wife is pretty hot).

My short term plan: round up the family, grab everything I can, a baseball bat, a couple cases of beer, throw everything in the truck and head out to Charlie's.

if you ask me just get as many ppl as you can arm them and just go nuts guns bats swords what ever you got and just get a big as truck or two and have two large groups and just watch your own in the even of a infection with with your team mates

yea but ya know you dont need a cure to get ride of zombies you could just wipe them out there stupid and its not like there gonna shoot back at you ( if they did that would suck ) but thats a good ideal you got there ... if i had to hold down one spot it'ed be a building with thick walls 3 floors with a few gens and wait there with a rife and clean up town maybe make a game of it with my buddys ... if they dont shoot me

My plan for what to do during a Zombie Apocalypse isn't much different for any other emergency plan. Gather my weapons, equipment, gear and supplies. Gather family and friends. Gather my critters(Horses and Cats) and head for our very rural camp. Scout the area occasionally to see if there are any others with the same idea. Make a couple forays closer to the Urban areas to see how things have progressed and to scavenge some. If we have enough people and supplies I would attempt to take and fortify a larger area to work from. I'd also have a number of possible fall back locations and safe houses if the shit got real ugly.

Put the pre-packed supplies and gear into the car with my bf, drive on the logging roads once we hit bush, make stops in the various towns along the way to the centre of Australia, unpack and claim either a small travel lodge or farm, fortify and stay there. If all goes well very few zombies will be coming that far out with all that fresh meat in the city. From there we have access to a number of creeks and under ground water sources, along with various edible plants and lots of animals to keep us alive. But if all the survivors get the same idea then we're screwed, unless the desert takes care of them for us.
