Hmmm... I'll be whatever the situations call for in the moment... I am a fish... I go with the flow...  I'll learn as i go though trial an error we can ilafford in a zpoc, i think i will adapt my learning and use the resources at my disposal... I'm pretty good with first aid, a knowledge on medications etc so perhaps that would be my strong point within a group... I'm also agile, fast, and a great problem solver with a freakishly precise sense of direction.. ...   My only real down fall i guess is no gun and no shooting experience but hey it's not the end of the world...  wait.... oh yeah it is lol

Shooting can be learned.

My statements were made about people acting as though they already have some experience when they've got none. I can plant a garden and drive a nail but it takes someone with a lifetime of experience to bring in the crops and builda house. As long as someone is willing to learn andthey have someone willing to teach them, with some luck they should survive.

STAY ALIVE

P.S.- It's Obvious.

I'd be the go with the flow survivor. Situationally lucky, not very talkative, but takes care of herself. She makes decisions on her own, and occasionally provides for others. Doing what it takes to survive is priority, but she acts without much thought often, leaving her life to fate.

I got a bad feeling that I'd lose my marbles if I had to live in post-apocalyptia. I'd have a different 'role' depending on whether I was with a group or alone. If I was with the group I'd be something you'd expect a deranged person to be, like the explosives guy or the designated risk-taker because ijdgaf. :)

Alone I think I'd be a Lot more dangerous, to the zombies and to the survivors.

The scout, scavenger, medic, inventor, problem solver, the tech guy, the cook,

It dosent matter, if a problem presents itself that jeopardises my survival, Ill take any steps necessary to keep it,

A sharp mind is the key to survival

I play parkour a lot, guess i could be a scout so long as i didnt trip, fall and shoot myself. But really any job besides the pack leader, too much responsibility. I'd rather not have the blood of other's on my hands.
true, like the parkour idea cause why go threw the streets fulll of zombies? just jump around rooftops and buildings to get around...well like you said, as long as you dont trip :P
I'd stay alone. Other people would slow me down unless they were also military or ETR trained and even then I know the limits of my training where as other people may not. Everyone makes mistakes though and quite frankly, I don't want to die because of another person making a noise with a few dozen Zeds around. If I'm going to die because of a mistake, I'd rather it be my own. I imagine I'd start talking to myself or corpses though, so at least I wouldn't be totally alone. The voices in my head would keep me company.

"A good leader must first learn to follow."

I would like to think I would be a good leader type, seeing as how the Army thought I could make  agood enough leader to pay for my college. Every group needs a leader, someone for the tough decisions to fall on, and even the blame at times. It gives a face to people's anger, and even if it might be hell on the leader, a leader knows to take it because it helps the rest of the group pyscologically. On the upside of being a leader, when things are going good, the leader looks like a hero to the rest of the group. After all, "The buck stops here."

Having said that, I think unless you have a relatively large group, it would be your downfall to specialize in any certain role. Say you're a good runner, but your not the best shot. What are you going to do when you have nowhere else to run? You need to be able to adapt and overcome any obstacle. Remember, it's the Z-poc, people aren't going to care if you do great work, they only want the job done. The guy who knows a little about everything will naturally become the leader because he can give valuable input to any situation. If you look at any highly trained, highly successful military unit (i.e. SFOD- Delta, Seal Team Six), after initial training, each member goes to a different school to specialize, but when they get back together they all cross-train one another, so that in the event of the incapacitation or death of a member, the rest of the members don't have to go without the skill the fallen member carried, they can carry on and perform the task themselves, albiet not at an expert level.

maybe a leader except I hate people but realize that there's safety in numbers and I'm not afraid to do what needs to be done in order for me and others if i like them to survive. and I'm quite the tactician :D so you tell me.

I'd be the guy trying to save people.  At least in the early stages of an outbreak.

Tech guy! I love computers and I am also a small arms expert! I know all about a lot of stiff so I'm sort of the strategist too.
