Found one! the U.S.S Yorktown at Patriots Point in Charleston S.C, you'd have to blow the bridge leading to it and bring a partial resupply with you but other than that your golden.

I toured the Midway in January. Great ship! USS Hornet is docked in Alameda, too. Alcatraz was the destination used in my "Island Sweep and Clear" video.
I don't know of a specific building but I could give you a generalization. 1. It would need to be at least 2 stories to give you a height advantage. 2. It would need to be secure, obviusly; steel doors and barred windows, etc. 3. this is the most difficult; secure enough to keep them out but not you in, in other words you need to have an escape/resupply exit that dosn't comprimise you. Best I can think is a tunnel.
I think that's beyond the basic scope of the question. Food will always be used up, power fade, water won't run. You will never be able to stay in one place for that long. Once water goes out, forget about what you'll be drinking, how will you even go to the bathroom? Our society is typically beyond the ability to cope with no technology, especially in a city center. What I meant by lots didn't mean endless. You will always need to leave unless you live on a farm somewhere that is in a hidden valley surrounded by twenty foot thick walls that are at least that tall... wait... new favorite place!
Power fades if you allow it. There are several ways to make electricity. I believe if you are in a rural area and vigilant about taking out any zeds coming near your area you can stay in one place or at least have a major base and resupply camp. If you have power you will be able to pump water. You can build fences and walls around your place if you need to. There will be plenty of supplies and available equipment in rural areas once the initial wave ends. Or burn through the credit cards at the start before anyone else is wise to what is happening. Not like you'll need them after the Zpoc.
Prime is correct. As a straight survival issue, do not rely on power you cannot make yourself. My Father is an Electrical Engineer. He worked for the local power utility for 27 years. I asked him once that if nobody reported to work, how long before the grid started going down. His response was that you would have 48 hours before the grid started to crash, 4-5 days before it was lights out everywhere, if you are fortunate.
