What would be your top 3 weapons to use in a zombie outbreak

I would have an MP5, no doubt, because of its size and frequency of ammo.
Maybe an AK-47, mainly for of durability and reliability.
A Beretta 9mm.
An aluminum baseball bat or machete.

Out of all my firearms i would not pass out or leave behind, id take,

Mini-14 fitted in Tapco IF stock/.223 for the distance,

Mossberg 500 SP shorty 12ga for close quarters,

Winchester Bowie and soon too be revolver cham. in 45lc. Looking into either Ruger or Rossi.

More than likely the mini will dangle on my back and shotty will be the primary, if something is far away enough to have to engage with a rifle you might as just save your ammo and not ring the dinner bell for all the other deadbodies.

h&k .45 socom-lightweight, reliable, and the .45 caliber does more damage than a 9mm

my henry .22 goldenboy lever action-holds 28 rounds, quieter than most other rifles, capable of rapid fire(if your skilled)

either my divers knife or my dads 14'' blade bowie knife

I have been asking this same question of some of my friends so here is my 3 and theirs (excuse the crypto-names, I try not to put peoples names on the net without their permission.)

Me: Bravo Company A4 with an ACOG (no batteries and I like the 4x power for reaching out and touching someone), Berreta 92FS, and Remington 870 Mariner

Mike Hotel: M1 Garand with Bayonet, M1911A1, and Ka-Bar (He likes his WWII weapons)

Whiskey Sierra: KA Stoner LMG (no idea how he plans to get ahold of one of these), Spike Tactical Havoc 37mm Flare launcher Bored out to fire 40mm HE (once again don't know where he is getting these things from, and Gen4 Glock 17 with 33 round mags.
